Design Team Monday with Susan

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans! With the beginning of a new year, many of us have fitness on our minds, including me! I'll be the first to admit that I'd rather be crafting than exercising, but it's time for me to start thinking a bit more about my health!
An old high school friend of mine has been encouraging me for some time and recently inspired me so much that in a moment of weakness I accepted a date for a hike on July 5th at Oil Creek State Park in Titusville, Pennsylvania with some of my classmates from the class of 1976!  I've got 6 months to get ready for it and I'm determined!

I decided to make myself some inspiration and this cute little owl brad in my art piece will remind me that I CAN DO IT!

Supplies Used: Owl Brad, Washi Tape, Storybook Cricut Cartridge, Wall Decor & More Cricut Cartridge

Now for a little teaser!  Just as this apple pie recipe is teasing me to forget about my goals, I'm going to tease you with a little sneak peek of what's to come from your favorite source for embellishments!

Check out the new flags and patriotic hat brads I used in my recipe layout!  Watch for these to be available very soon at Eyelet Outlet!

Supplies Used:  Cricut Cartridges (Old West, Plantin Schoolbook, Country Life, Sports Mania), Twine,
Eyelet Outlet Baseball Brad & soon-to-be available Patriotic Brads

Thanks for stopping by today!

Design Team Monday with Susie

Welcome to Design Team Monday Eyelet Outlet Fans!
Susie here to share a few cards with you.
And now we are in January 2014.  Can you believe it? I have two celebration type cards for you today.
They both could be used as birthday cards, but the first one could be used to celebrate other types of days too. The star of my first card is the row of Bumble Bee Brads.
They are all lined up and ready to celebrate!
What I especially like about this card is that it could be for either a gal or a guy.  I struggle with guy cards, so this is a big plus!!

For my next card I used Cupcake Brads for the focal point of this birthday card for a sweet little girl.  The "5" is die cut from paper and the sentiment is stamped.
But those sweet little cupcakes just light up the whole card.  Don't you think?

Of course, no cards are complete without bling, so I added a few Eyelet Outlet black pearls to each card!
Be sure and check in with us every Monday and Wednesday on the blog. We feature a different designer from our team and always have something fun to show you !

If you have a chance, I would love for you to visit me at The Dies Have It.

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends. Shemaine here, wishing you a Happy New Year from all of us at Eyelet Outlet! If you're like me, today is all about 'Just Chillin'. We generally take down the Christmas Tree and decor and relax on New Year's Day. Here's a little card I created that fits today's mood.

Supplies: We R Memory Keepers North Pole collection. Stamped image: My Favorite Things Tweeny Teen. Eyelet Outlet bling strip clear, snowflake and Christmas Tree brads. Punky Sprouts lil Seeds button and The Twinery Twine.

Don't I wish I could go outside and create a frosty little friend like this one with my daughter but in So Cal it's 75 degrees today!
