Deja Poo??

Hi EO fans! Well EO has released their much requested Tissue Paper & Tissue brads! Now we have a full arsenal of Covid 19 related items with last month's release of the Mask, Hand Sanitizer & Soap Brad sets.

I can't tell you how much I giggled while I was making this card. My only child is a boy and I've been living with potty humor since he was 5 and would yell, "Underwear!" and break into fits of laughter! Yes, I've been in training for years for this brad release! The Toilet Paper & Tissue brads are perfect! LOL!

I cut the mats and the poo icon from Cricut Design Space. Making a custom card like this is so much easier with their library of characters and designs. The words on the scallop front was a print then cut piece I created as well. I cut an extra set of o's out of the same brown cardstock as the poo icon and glued them on to the toilet paper rolls in the title. Of course I had to put some googly eyes on the poo too! Oh, the giggles!

Have a great week!

Cool love!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a fun card that could be used for a Valentine, an anniversary or wedding, or just because! This card design is super simple and features some of our newest brads in the store, which I just love, paired with some awesome Washi Tape! I've always loved Washi Tape in general, but my love is slowly growing to an addiction, lol!

I cut a standard A2 sized top-folding white card base along with a slightly smaller black cardstock panel. I created a computer-generated sentiment, printed it and trimmed it with sentiment in the top one-third of the panel which I layered on the black cardstock panel. I covered a piece of cardstock with Pink Checked Washi Tape and die cut a stitched square. I added two Ice Cream Brads and several tiny black punched hearts, then adhered the die cut piece to the layered white panel which I adhered to the card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by - we'll see you next time!

Valentine's Breakfast

I (Lauren) love a good breakfast and also a good pun. So a few years ago, when the Eyelet Outlet Bacon, Egg and Toast Brads made their debut, I was pretty excited to pair them with my Lawn Fawn "Love and Breakfast" stamp set. I'm still happy, actually, for any excuse to try a different version, in this case little three-inch square mini Valentines!

I used the kawaii breakfast images and some of the words from the stamp set, but swapped out all of the foodstuffs for brads. I used small alphabet stickers to complete the sentiments and to highlight selected words.

I scattered a few white Heart Pearls around each card for extra texture and interest; rounded the corners and added a little bit of machine stitching.

In addition to Bacon, Egg and Toast Brads, I realized that the Waffles from our Chicken and Waffle Brad set would work really well, too. I added a Bright Stitched Flower to the breakfast tray on this card.

There are lots of other great Food Brads at Eyelet Outlet; everything from crab and lobster, to ice cream cones, candies, cakes, donuts, fruits and veggies, and accessories like baking tools, grills, silverware and more. Whatever you're craving, we're serving it up in the EO Store!

would happily eat breakfast
three times a day!

New Product Annoucement!

You've been wishing...and we have it!

Stock up before the run on the store...you know its going to happen.
While you are there, be sure to check out the 10 new sequins shapes!
Dolphins, flamingos, hearts, and more!!

Hi!

I created a pile of cards this weekend...which is always a treat!
This one is flat...so very mail-able..oh, wait, there is one butterfly brad on there.
But this time, I cut off the prongs so it seems to be flatter than normal.

I got this new Eyelet Outlet washi tape...it's wide.
Then, I cut out the butterflies to use as accent pieces along the bottom.
Easy peasy...and lovely!

Hope your day is filled with flutterbys...real or imaginary!

Sweet As Can Bee!

Bees are always a fun element to work with and Eyelet Outlet has a lot of bee related products to help you out. This is a very cheerful way to let someone know you're sweet on them.

To begin, I applied glitter tape to the outside of an A2 sized card base. I cut a middle rectangle out of a golden yellow piece of cardstock and applied it to the panel. I then applied alternating strips of glitter washi and printed washi in two patterns. I cut and colored a bee hive and a branch. I used the mini leafs and bees to decorate it. I also added the funky bee brads and a purple heart enamel dot. The shiny honey on the honey dipper is a yellow laquer from Hero Arts.

Check out the store for the supplies I used:

Funky Bee Brads

Mini Leafs Brads

Mini Bee Brads

Glitter Thin Washi Tape - 5 rolls

Glitter Tape - Rainbow

Heart Washi Tape

Bee Washi Tape

Thanks for stopping by and BEE Happy!

Happy Sunflowers!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a pretty sunflower-themed 'thinking of you' card. The sunflower is my favorite flower so it didn't take long to work up a nice clean and simple card design using these awesome brads! This design is one that would be super easy to mass produce to create a set to give as a gift.

I created a standard A2 top-folding ivory card base and rounded the lower right corner. By now you know I love to do that to add some interest to a card! I cut a slightly smaller ivory panel for the front and adhered a piece of patterned paper to the bottom, added a strip of Wood Washi Tape and layered the panel on dark brown cardstock. I added a die cut stem and several Sunflower Brads, and adhered the layered panel to the card base. I die cut a digital sentiment and popped it up on foam pieces for a little dimension. The final touch was the addition of several small Ivory Enamel Dots. Thanks so much for stopping by - we'll see you next time!

Be Mine!

Valentines are some of my (Lauren's) favorite cards to make, especially since I have a niece whose birthday is February 14th. Like me, she loves lots of color and sparkle, so I have pulled out all the stops for this card and used eight different Eyelet Outlet brad styles with ten varieties of (pink!) washi tape!

I started by choosing a center point on my 6" square card to be the connection for my starburst of different tapes. Then I somewhat randomly layered a bunch of my favorite Valentine-friendly designs, concentrating on those which had lots of pink in them, including: Tiny Heart TapeGlitter Heart TapeGlitter PinkMacaron WashiUnicorn TapeFoil Rose TapeHeart Arrow TapePink Dot WashiChecked Pink Tape and Gold Foil XO Tape, which is technically not at all pink, but worked well anyway.

Then I added my diecut heart, a Hello Kitty cut-out, and glitter alphabet sentiment over the place where all of the tapes met. Finally, it was time to add the brads. Again, I went mostly by color, but luckily there were lots of things that matched which I know Miss Riley loves, such as: Heart BradsDonut Brads, a starfish from the Sea Shore Brads, the pink glittery tiara from the Crown and Tiara set, an Ice Cream Brad and a Stitched Flower.

Whatever color your Valentine loves best, I bet there are a bunch of fun Eyelet Outlet Brads and Washi Tape Styles that will coordinate perfectly! ♥

wishes you a very
Happy Valentine's Day!

We LAVA Dinos!

If you have a dino lover, these Dinosaur brads from Eyelet Outlet will make them roar with delight!

I cut off one of the palm trunks to create a fern brad.
Washi tape is great for backdrop pans or die cut them out for accent pieces.

Loving Hearts

I have love and valentines on the brain lately. Shaker cards are fun to make and I made one on today's slimline card.

The slimline card base is 3 1/2" x 8 1/2". I cut a bright pastel striped cardstock from a slimline postage stamp die. Then I cut out a heart and circles with dies. Behind the shaker, I put a piece of metallic white cardstock so that the new Love Sequins and the new Heart Sequins would stand out. I added a few white and pink sead beads to the well also. The sequins come in sets of different colors and are so pretty! The Love sequins are large so I decided to use them as sentiments as well as shaker bits. I spaced pink and gold Love Sequins and glued them on the card front. I did the same with several pink Heart Sequins.

I wanted to have a couple little characters peaking out of the circles so I colored and fussy cut them and mounted them so they would be peaking out.

I hope you enjoyed today's card. Thanks for stopping by!

Little Chick Baby Congrats

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a fun baby congratulations card featuring some of my favorite products! This was a fun one to design and definitely isn't your ordinary baby congrats card!

I created a standard A2 size top-folding white card base and a slightly smaller white panel for the front. I adhered some yellow and white dotted paper to the bottom of the panel and then added a strip of Glitter Black Washi Tape and a narrow strip of red cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in black ink, added a Chicken Brad and then layered the panel on red cardstock. I adhered the panel to the card base and added several Black Enamel Dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

Happy Valentines Day

This card entitled "Valentines Day" comes with a bit of humor!  This card is not a typical Valentines Day card, but then we aren't in typical times.

It's a considerate and a loving gesture to share your last bottle of hand sanitizer with someone even on Valentines Day.   The best part is that this card is suitable to give to anyone!

The Eyelet Outlet products make it easy to create this card.  The Heart Glitter Washi Tape is adhered to cardstock vertically to create a background paper.  The Red Skinny Washi Tape edges the card creating a mat effect.  The Heart Brads anchor the sentiment at the bottom of the card while the Hand Sanitizer Brad is the highlight of the card.

The sentiment inside the heart is by Stampendous Stamps while the Scribbled Heart Die is by Impression Obsession.

What kind of creative Valentines Day card can you create?  Head on over to the Eyelet Outlet web site and explore all the washi, brads, bling, and more and find your treasures to create that card!  Then post the card to the Eyelet Outlet Fan Page on Facebook; we'd love to see it!

Sending Love

The holidays may be over, but winter is still around for a few more months, so I'm not quite finished with snowmen!  I really do love snowmen and I have no idea why it never occurred to me before now to put a pair of Eyelet Outlet skates on one of them!  I've also added a hat brad to this cute little guy.

I've got a few thank-you notes to send for some lovely Christmas presents I received, so I think this will make a sweet one since my snowman is carrying a heart brad, too.  And of course, this would also make an adorable Valentine card.

Thanks for stopping in today!

Blingy Birdhouse

Eyelet Outlet Bling and Flowers are obviously awesome finishing touches to cards, layouts and giftwrapping;  but they are equally nice when they come off the page and onto 3D projects. Like a super-fancy Bijou Bird Boutique!

This project started life as a plain balsa birdhouse from the big box crafting store, and the sitting tenant is a small bird from the floral department. I (Lauren) dabbed white paint along the edges and added panels of collaged vintage paper (accented with old-school paper doilies) to the front, back, sides and roof. Then it was time to embellish!

I made two stacks using all three sizes of white Paper Flowers with Bumpy Heart Bling centers, to accent the righthand slope of the roof.

I used an entire pack of clear Swirl Bling! But by trimming the pieces apart carefully, I was able to place a large flourish, covering most of the lefthand slope of the roof AND still have enough pieces to add bling to every surface of the house. To make them appear even more substantial, I split the smaller flourishes into halves or thirds, so that they seem to "wrap around" the corners of the house.

Swirl Bling comes in seven jewel colors (Clear, Red, Green, Pink, Purple Black and Champagne) and four pearl colors (Black, White, Gold and Silver); no matter what style of project you're dreaming up, Eyelet Outlet has BlingSequins or Enamels that will embellish it beautifully!

loves to watch the birds
at her (non-blingy!) backyard feeder.

To a Special Teacher

Hello EO Fans! Today I'm celebrating a special teacher for these challenging times. Most of our kids across the country are in virtual school but as with all adversity, there are some teachers who continue to amaze for their flexibility, dedication and love for their students. This one is for them!

The new Mask, Soap and Hand Sanizer brad set was perfect for this one. I also used a Graduation Hat brad and two apples from the Apple brad set. The stamp set used was Peek A Boo Pals from Avery Elle, So Owlsome from Lawn Fawn and the polaroid frame is a die from Jillian Vance Design.

Have a great day!

Cats and Dogs Rescue!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a sweet cat and dog rescue card! My hubby and I have nine feline fur babies and all but one are rescues, so this is an issue that is close to our hearts. There are so many animals out there that need forever homes. We've always said that if we had a huge plot of land we'd rescue all kinds of animals. Maybe one day...

I cut a standard A2 sized top-folding white card base along with a slightly smaller blue panel and a slightly smaller white panel for the front. I added a strip of Weather Washi Tape about a third of the way down, then adhered a computer-generated sentiment just over the top of it. Then the fun began adding a variety of Cat Quicklet Eyelets and Dog Quicklet Eyelets in a raining down fashion. This is the first time I've ever used quicklets and they are SO easy - you can set them with a ballpoint pen! I popped the panel up on a piece of blue craft foam and adhered it to the card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by - we'll see you next time!

Friendly Monster Message

Today's card entitled "Friendly Monster Message" is a fun way to use the new Eyelet Outlet Pandemic Masks Brads and remind our youngsters to wear a mask!
