Really Awful!

Have you seen Eyelet Outlet's new "Chicken & Waffles," brad set?  As usual, these brads are so realistic that they look good enough to eat!

For this card, I looked to the Cricut Fast Food cartridge and used the child eating image, but I opted for a girly hairstyle, so grabbed one from one of the Everyday Paperdolls images.  Her cute little face is a digital stamp from Peachy Keen.  She's got the new Chicken Leg Brad in one hand and an Eyelet Outlet Fork Brad in the other and life is good, because she's got her Waffle Brad on her plate!

See the Chicken and Waffles brads and all our new brads at Eyelet Outlet!  Or, check us out in person at one of the many trade shows we'll be at in the coming months!  This weekend, June 1 & 2, Eyelet Outlet will be in two places at once on both sides of the country!  We'll be at the Creating Keepsakes Show in West Springfield, Massachusetts and also at the Scrapbook Expo in Puyallup, Washington.

Thanks a Latte!

One of my (Lauren) all-time favorite Eyelet Outlet brad sets has to be the Coffee Brads, which come with white cups, red cups AND coffee beans. So of course I was pretty psyched when I saw the new Coffee Stamps which are quite literally made to go with the brads!

I love that all the EO Clear Stamp sets are a mix of images and really great sentiments, sized exactly right to be used with the brads. For my first card, I stamped the "Cool Beans" sentiment  over and over (...and over and over...) on a panel of plain white cardstock, using lots of gorgeous bright shades of archival ink.

Then I added the (literal!) cool beans by making some of the Coffee Bean Brads the centers of three different sizes of Paper Flowers. My mat is fabulous Splatter Tape and there's a little strip of beautiful watercolory Wide Flower Tape to add extra interest!

My second card features Butterfly Washi, which I used to make my background squares that hold the sentiment, "Thanks a Latte" stamped on a heart shape. I added Flower Tape, some fussycut butterflies, and a pair of Coffee Cups nested on top of Plain White Flowers for a summery look!

Where to Buy Beer

The new Eyelet Outlet releases have arrived

and they are so fun!

It's Kim from Katydid Cards and I can't wait to share with you the cards I made using them.  The first set I'm showcasing is the Beer Brads having beer bottles in two different designs and a mug.  Great for all your masculine cards and layouts.

I decided a step card would be the perfect backdrop for the design I had in mind.  This way the brads get to take center stage with just a little embellishment in the form of "foam" using Liquid Applique.  I saw this sentiment on the Internet somewhere and just had to use it on this card.

I took my color cues from the brads themselves and love the combination!  And speaking of love, I can't even begin to tell you how much I love how cute that foam looks and all I did was dab a bit of liquid applique on the mugs and the focal oval and heat set it.  Here's another look from the side.

A simple sentiment inside finishes off the card.  I should have added another beer bottle or two now that I look at the inside again.

Thanks for visiting us today.  See you soon!

Donut Know...

Hi Friends! kel here today to share a fun donut card!

I used some fun washi tape and a donut brad to make this card. First, I stamped all over the right side of a white piece of cardstock and then added the washi to the right side. I used some Donut washi tape and Glitter Light Pink washi tape from the Eyelet Outlet store.

I then wrapped some twine around it and then added the donut brad to finish it off before sticking it down on a brown cardstock piece. So cute! Love the colors and that fun donut brad is just perfect!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

Book Stamp Set

Hi, this is Rebecca. Welcome to the weekend, and Happy Memorial Day for us US folks!

Today I have some quick cards, made quicker with the new Book Stamp Set!

First, a confession: I am not a talented, experienced stamper. I am an occasional stamper with some pretty basic stamping supplies. I love to look at all the lovely card stamp work around here, but I’m usually more likely to use my own ink for a messy background than a clean card front. But I have to tell you, these stamps stamped so cleanly! I was worried about my skill at getting a good, photographable impression on the large oval, but it (along with the other stamps in the pack) worked great for me without any extra prep.

This first card also uses Book Washi TapeBook Brads, and Pearl Bling Strips. Quick and easy!

Then for a second quick card, I stamped a few books to coordinate with this cross-stitched piece (it was on my desk waiting for a use, and this card seemed like a good time). Just added a few Jewel Bling pieces, and done.

And finally, I went bright to coordinate with the bright color Book Brads. A few Enamel Hearts and coordinating Washi (herehere and something similar here ) made this one a quick project, too.

The Book Stamp Set is now available on the site, along with 15 other all new Stamp sets that coordinate with other Eyelet Outlet Brads, washi and more. We’re so excited to have these coordinating stamps, and I can’t wait to use them with some scrap pages, too!

Risk the Cooties!

TGIF crafty friends!  Susie here with another ATC*!

Feeling a little flirty?   Here's a card to share if you are "willing to risk the cooties"! This card features my favorite *new* brads from the Eyelet Outlet May 2018 Release - a pair of champagne glasses! Time to play...

This card started by pairing a Julie Nutting doll (mini-Megan from the Calendar Musts planner stamp set by Prima) with one of the many funny sentiments from the Life Words stamp set from Stampendous. I started by stamping the image and sentiment on watercolor paper and  then pulled out the paints.

Time to add a little dimension so I reached for the *new* Wedding Brads! They come in a 12 pack mix of rings and champagne glasses. (Here's a tip: Try topping the ring brads with a clear rhinestone and you have a beautiful diamond ring! Perfect for an engagement card, right?!)
Add pair of champagne glasses above the sentiment...and a few rhinestones below...done!

Be sure to check out all the new brads being released this month HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play today!  Susie

For instance, the past few days the new clear stamps have been revealed. They are amazing and so economical, too! Check them out in the store by clicking HERE.

And the new brads are AMAZING! There are so many to choose from. You're going to love them!!! Go HERE to see what I'm talking about.

For my card today I used some of the new clothing brads. I created a clothesline (using paper strips and a piece of linen twine) to hang my "clothes" out to dry on a gorgeous partly cloudy spring day.

Thirsty for Eyelet Outlet Drink Brads!

We're so excited that the new brads are available now at the Eyelet Outlet Store!

Today I'm showing you the new Beer Brads set.  Using my Cricut Maker, I decided to use a combination of print-then-cut as well as paper piecing on this barmaid image from Cricut's Autumn Creations cartridge.  I flattened all layers except the gold and white then went ahead and used some strategically placed pop dots on her blouse to make up for it!  LOL!  😉

Next up, since it's "Throw Back Thursday," I thought I'd do a recreation of this card I showed you a few months back that features "Joan" from Cricut Suburbia cartridge having an Eyelet Outlet Cocktail!

Here's "Allen," also from Cricut Suburbia cartridge, out on the town with an Eyelet Outlet Beer Brad!

Thanks for stopping in today and if you've worked up a thirst for Eyelet Outlet drink brads, you can find them at Eyelet Outlet.com in our "Food & Drink" section!

Go Nuts for Donuts! ♥

It's no secret that I (Lauren) am a huge fan of Eyelet Outlet's Donut Brads. And a few weeks ago, I found an awesome Donut Washi Tape in the EO store that pairs perfectly with them. So you can only imagine my joy when the new line of Eyelet Outlet Clear Stamps included a set called "Donut Stamps". Obviously I had to use all of those fine products together, right?!'

For my first card, I stamped the sentiment, "I DONUT know what I'd do without you" on some soft pink paper in black ink, and a second time on scrap paper with dark brown.

The latter version I fussycut, and mounted over the background on tiny strips of foam tape, just for a little bit of added dimension. I affixed one of each of the three flavors of Donut Brad onto a matted square of dark brown paper and layered them onto the card over a strip of Donut Tape.

My second card features the fun donut stamp from the set. I used it to make a background by stamping it repeatedly in Archival ink on watercolor paper, then coloring with water-based markers that I brushed with a little water for a looser effect. I added the sentiment, "DONUT ever give up" inside a diecut label shape and adorned it with a Donut Brad and a Heart.

Let's Get Cooking

Hi!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards.

One of the new clear stamp sets by Eyelet Outlet has a cooking theme.  It coordinates with quite a few brads including Cooking, Baking, Cupcake, and Cookies.  I bet you could think of a few more, too.

On this card, I stamped the image on the scalloped rectangle with purple ink.  I stamped it again on turquoise and gray in black. I cut around the outside of the colored cardstock ovens.  To provide some dimension I cut the center from the turquoise piece and layered that over the gray.  Do you remember the good old days when stoves were actually made in this color?

I attached the cookie tin on the oven rack and filled it with Pink Pearl Bling.  I thought a cute touch would be to attach the oven mitt on the tray and Black Pearl Bling as the knobs.  To adorn the sides of the panel, I used two sizes of Pink Pearl Bling.  On the lower corners of the center step card, I added cupcake.  I didn't share the inside of the card as I wanted to showcase the stamp, but it says, "one cupcake at a time"

With the second stamp, I paired it with the oven mitt and cookie tray.  I think it would have worked equally well with the pan.  I think the Cactus Washi Tape would be a cute combo with it as well.  If you're interested, the card base I made was from a cut file in the Silhouette store.  I reminded me of an oven rack.

I'm looking forward to using the remaining stamps in the set and also seeing what the rest of the design team does as well.  Stay tuned for future posts featuring the other new sets!
