New product inspiration

The holidays are just around the corner with Halloween being the first of the three. Do you make Halloween cards for friends and family? Eyelet Outlet owner Suzanne Marchesano created this spooky little card with our spider and bat brads.

I do love to create Thanksgiving cards for my family and friends and I love the new leaf brads we have. They were perfect for this fall themed card.

Suzanne also created some cute holiday themed cards with our new Holiday tree and stocking brads.

The brads are perfect inside the circles because they bring the focus to the center of the card.

These would also make cute holiday gift tags!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Guest Designer Monday

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans. Today we are welcoming a Guest Designer to the blog. We are pleased to welcome Melanie Rozwood.

Hello!  My name is Melanie Rozwood and I have the wonderful chance to be today’s Guest Designer.  When it comes to designing, decorative brads and eyelets are my favorite embellishments.  There’s nothing like the excitement from finding the perfect one for a project.

I was really excited about the Woodland Animal set.  The raccoons are awesome, playful accents for this picture of my son.

I prefer to make cards that I can use for multiple occasions.  The deer make allow this card to be masculine, romantic, sympathetic or seasonal.

The bananas are very versatile too.  This monkey card is so upbeat and great for kids invitations, a thank you, or anyone that needs a little bit of happiness.

During the day, I am a wife and Stay-At-Home-Mom of 2 active young boys.  I have a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design.  I love scrapbooking, football, sudoku, and Dr. Pepper.  To see more of my designs visit my blog, Afternoon Scrapper

Thank you and happy crafting!

~Melanie

Design Team Monday with Jingle

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! This is Jingle here and I have been having so much fun with the new brad designs! Here are three fun cards I have created to share with you this month!

Make Gnome Mistake

For this card I created a super fun little woodland scene to surround my gnome. I used the Lawn Mushroom brads in red, green, and blue, the Holiday Tree brads (NOT just for holidays, folks!), and a super cute Deer brad to complete the little scene. The gnome stamp and sentiment worked so well with these fun brads!

A Monstrous Birthday!

My next card is a super fun child's birthday card full of monstrous happy goodness! I used the Monster Brads, the Monster Ribbon, and the Eye Brads to accent the ribbon in an extra fun way!

Haunted Halloween
And finally, I couldn't help but sneak in a fun Halloween card to inspire you this month! For this one I used the SUPER FABULOUS Halloween Mix set and the corners came from the Anodized Corner Brads. I love the extra the corners add! I hope you have a wonderful day and feel free to drop by my blog, Just Jingle to see more of my fun designs!

This card was created using the new release dog mix brads... The are just perfect for ally your fun dog themed projects.  Check them out here http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/dog-mix-brads.html

This next card was created using the new release banana brads which you can find here http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/banana-brads.html

Finally here is the layout I created

Here are the new release army men brads http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/army-men-brads.html

Here is a little sock monkey brad... my brother had a sock monkey when he was little so I had to have it on the layout! http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/sock-monkey-brads.html

Here is the antique car brad... I would have loved to use more car brads on my layout but this was my very last one... I think the cars are some of my very favorite brads!  http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/car-brads.html

Design team Monday with Susie

Happy Monday! Can you believe we are in the second week of September already?  Fall is here for sure.
I have three cards to show you today – one fall card, one holiday card, and one card just to send to someone really special. So here is my fall card.  I used pearl brads to look like they are holding up each end of my banner.  Then I drew lines on each part of the banner to look like string is threaded through.  It is a simple way to use the brads, but effective, I think.

My next card is one I'll be sending to someone special who really is the apple of my eye.  This time I used larger pearl brads and more of them too.  The red brads really make the scallop pop.  And of course there they are holding up the apple sign too.

OK, maybe you are really ready to commit to the upcoming green and red season just yet.  So why not break in slowly with some pink and yellow-green?  Can you see those sweet tiny button brads on the snow people?  Oh my goodness, they just make me giddy!  I am pretty sure they will be adorning some other cards I'll be making soon too!

Thanks for taking a look at my creations for Eyelet Outlet.  I would love for you to see more of my work at my blog, The Dies Have It.

Design Team Wednesday with Taylor

Hi everyone - it's Taylor here for Design Team Wednesday this week!  I'm kicking off my post today with a bit of Halloween flair - this paper is the perfect accent for the little Spider Brads.  They are so creepy!

And here is a closer look at the steampunk Clock Part brad I added over the pocket watch on my image.  It really snazzes up her outfit, don't you think?  I wish I had accessories like that!

Next up is a card that uses a pearl brad in a different way - I didn't attach it to the card at all, but rather as an accent around the knot on my ribbon.  To do this, open the prongs of the brad all the way, and just wrap them around the knot - it's easy! The color really pops, doesn't it?

My final project today is a holiday gift tag.  I could NOT decide which brads to use, so I just went with all of them, lol.  More is always better, right?  I added a Holiday Stocking brad at the top, just under the twine.  And then I added three Holiday Tree brads around my sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today - feel free to head over to my blog or Facebook page to check out more of my work!
