I made a special project for you today. It's a winter village I created with my Silhouette Cameo and embellished with Eyelet Outlet brads and bling. The embellishments are what gives this village personality.

I hope this gets you all in the holiday spirit!!

There are snowmen carrying candy, trees in the yard, a cute little dog in front of his house, which is decorated with holiday lights.

The other house has a spray of leaves adorned with snowflakes and bling.

12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Day 8

Hi there! Heather here to share another holiday card with you - this time using some fun candy cane brads! These brads just make me feel festive - so bright and fun! I thought they would look beautiful on a chalkboard paper tag - and I do love how they pop!

I love creating with the chalkboard technique - simply stamp your image on chalkboard or black cardstock and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Next, stamp again slightly off the first image with white pigment ink. Finally, add some details with a white colored pencil, and add some smudges of the white pigment ink to complete the effect.

Paper Smooches Tag Scallop Die
Clear Stamps: My Craft Spot "Joy to the World" and "Christmas Banner Sentiments"

12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Day 6

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends. It's Day 6 of our 12 Days of Holiday Inspiration! Today it's Dawn, sharing a fun project for your kids to have fun making.

Santa is waiting for tender notes and fun wish lists.
Create a magical mail box for your young ones to leave notes to Santa.
I used holiday brads from The Eyelet Outlet, as well as bling and  jewel bling strips.

Don't forget The Eyelet Outlet's Washi Tapes!
I used the tape to cover up where the papers meet. Neat and complete!

I also used Checked Washi Tape and Diagonal Stripe Washi tape on 3x5 index
cards for notes/stationary to Santa!! It's simple...but lined for the kids...and easily coordinates
with the outside of your mail box.

You can find so many darling brads at the store site.

Snowflake brads and jewel bling strips add elegant details to this home decor project!

Join us tomorrow for another day of inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by!

12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Day 5

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans! Welcome to Day 5 of our 12 Days of Holiday cards promotion.
My husband and I recently moved from South Texas to Central Texas and I couldn't resist playing up that fact in our Christmas cards this year!
There are design variations in all of the cards, but the focal point in each is the shape of Texas with an Eyelet Outlet heart shaped brad right in the center and the inside of each card says, "...to your house, Merry Christmas!"
One variation carries the Texas theme right down to the cowboy boots and features a holiday wreath and pinecones brads

The next variation has a bright jolly feel with traditional Christmas colors and features a Christmas tree brad, snowflake brad, and for some extra sparkle, some of Eyelet Outlet's new bling on the holly.

Supplies Used Cricut Cartridges: Fifty States (Texas); Old West (boots); Stretch Your Imagination (holly); burlap, ribbon

We hope you're enjoying our "12 Days of Holiday Cards!"

Stay tuned tomorrow Eyelet Outlet fans for Dawn's creation!

Have a great day!

12 Days of Holiday Inspiration

Welcome to 12 Days of  Holiday Inspiration!
Today we are kicking off 12 days of holiday ideas for using Eyelet Outlet products! We hope you'll stop by each day to see what the team has created for you.

Susie here with a gift tag for you today. I thought it would be fun to go through my stray die cuts and see what I could come up with for embellishing gift tags.  Of course I added an Eyelet Brad to all of them!

 Here is my favorite:

This little retro Santa holding a candy cane just makes me smile.  And won't it bring a smile to the face of the recipient?  Can't wait to attach it to a wrapped gift.  Yup - I've already been Christmas shopping!

Here is a close up of that Jolly Old Santa and his candy cane:

Be sure to be sure to check out our holiday brads in the Eyelet Outlet store.  Take a look right here. They will make the perfect 3D embellishment for YOUR holiday gift tags. Design Team Wednesday with Annette

Hi Eyelet Outlet peeps! I have a couple of fun projects for you today. I'll start you off with a little humor. I seriously cracked myself up with this one! If turkey's could talk, they would be yelling this right now!
Supplies:
Turkey brads - Eyelet Outlet
Paper - American Crafts
Sentiment - Computer Generated (Font is Skinny Jeans)
Now for a non-card project. I made a boat!! Specifically, I made a miniature paper version of the Mayflower. If any history buffs are reading this, let me clarify that I know the Mayflower didn't have pilgrim hats and writing on the its sails. I can also say with confidence that the pilgrims did not display the banner "America or bust!" In fact, I don't even think the New World was even called America, but it's fun to pretend, right. Wouldn't this be a fun treat holder to place on the table at Thanksgiving? I loaded my boat with Skittles, but you could use nuts, crackers or even popcorn! I created the boat in Silhouette Studio. As a special treat and as my way of saying "Thank You" to my readers, I am going to make this available on my blog for FREE. You don't even have to be a follower to get it (but I always get a little excited when I see a new follower added to the my list.) Here’s my post!
 Supplies:
Pilgrim Hat Brads - Eyelet Outlet
Bling - Eyelet Outlet
Ink - Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Brushed Corduroy)
