A traditional Merry Christmas wish!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a super cute Christmas card in traditional red and green featuring some pretty awesome washi tape, brads and bling!

I created a side-folding A2 card base and a slightly smaller panel from textured red cardstock, then cut a smaller panel which I covered with Christmas Pattern Washi Tape. I die cut letters spelling M-E-R-R-Y from green foil-covered cardstock and added them to the panel. I perched a Santa Hat Brad on the M at an angle and added two Stocking Brads at the end just past the Y. I stamped 'Christmas' in green ink on white cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it beneath the main part of the sentiment. I finished off the front by adding a few green 8 mm Cut Jewels. Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

A Blue Gift Bag

As we are heading into the holiday season we begin to think about holiday trees, ornaments, gift wrap, and even gift bags.  Today's entry is a Gift Bag that is fun and easy to create using Eyelet Outlet's Washi Tape and Sticky Back Jewels.

The gift bag is perfect for giving a bottle of wine or non-alcoholic beverages.  Although the bag has large embossed stars all over it, with Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape and Embellishments, I knew there was more decorating to be done to this inexpensive, dollar store bag.

First I found a coordinating piece of cardstock and trimmed it to less than the width and length of the bag.  Then the cardstock was edged with Blue Glitter Washi Tape adding sparkle and shine to the package.    Several strips of the Washi were placed on white cardstock laying them side-by-side creating a paper that was used to die cut the stars.  Eyelet Outlet's Sticky Back Clear Jewels are placed on each star to add further sparkle.

The decorations are completed by adding one of my favorite stamp-die sets from Julie Nutting called "Rudi" and also adding a greeting.  This is a fun project and a great way to 'dress up' an ordinary dollar store bag!  Give it a try and share it on the Eyelet Outlet Fan Page!  We love to see your creations!

Head on over to the Eyelet Outlet site and check out all of the Washi Tape and Jewels to dress up your holiday gift bags.

Gingerbread House Gift Box

The weather has started turning cooler here in Central Texas, so it's easier to turn my attention to Christmas crafts than it was when we were still in the 90's.  Today I've got a great little gift box to show you that is loaded with awesome Eyelet Outlet embellishments!

This gable box is from the Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes image set. The roof has a slit in the center that slips over the handle of the box and lifts off to open which I thought was so clever.  Placing the brads on the box is super simple if done before actually assembling the box.

I thought the holiday red and green enamel dots were a great way to embellish the scallops on the roof, but any of our stick on gems would also be cool.

For snow around the base of the box I used a strip of silver glitter washi tape. I added a wreath brad to the door and some holly brads to the windows.  The star of the show though has to be Eyelet Outlet's brand new Gingerbread brads!  The set includes a little boy and a little girl gingerbread person!  I also added some more sweet touches - the peppermint candy brads, candy cane brad, and lollipop brad.  The roof seemed like a great opportunity for one of our prancing deer brads pulling Santa's sleigh brad!

See these and more holiday brads from Eyelet Outlet here!  Thanks for being with us today!

Oh, What a Stylish Web We Weave

Because ordinary spiders make everyday webs, but Eyelet Outlet Spider Brads (and Mini Spider Brads!) demand something a little fancier... like a beautiful mandala web on a gorgeous pink card:

I (Lauren) stamped an older Mandala from MFT onto plain white bristol board, and embossed with white powder, letting the design go off the top corner of the panel, to make it slightly more spider-web-like. Then, colored in the panel with a blend pink oxide inks. I let my Spider Brad and Mini Spiders move in and make themselves comfy; and added panels of Glitter Black TapePink Foil and Coloring Book Tape... (which is actually leaves and flowers, but looks rather web-like if you trim it down to mat size!) ...and affixed the whole thing to my A7 card.

I hope you'll be inspired to get out your Eyelet Outlet goodies and see what kinds of Halloween fun you can cook up!

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends! Now is the time of year I start thinking about little gifts I want to make to give to friends, coworkers, personal service people or even to give to someone as a random act of kindness during the holiday season. This project is a perfect example of that. It's a decorated post-it note holder. It's good for young and old and it always gets a smile and a thanks.

I made two version of this today. One is traditional red, green and gold. The other has a pastel theme. These holders are lined with chipboard and are very sturdy. After making each holder, I decorated them using brads, washi tape and bling from Eyelet Outlet. Below is what they look like when they are opened.

SUPPLIES FOR TRADITIONAL HOLDER:

Holly Brads

Santa & Mrs. Clause Brad Set

Snowflake Bling - Red

SUPPLIES FOR PASTEL HOLDER:

Large Snowflake Bling 1 1/2"

Pink Pearl Bling

Wide Sky Washi Tape (used behind ornament die cut)

Glitter Winter Washi

Fancy Long Pearls and Jewel Bling (on spine)

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great week!

Sweet Pumpkin Patch!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a fun Fall card featuring a pumpkin patch! I know I've mentioned before that Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, and I just had to use these fun pumpkins on a project because you know everything is pumpkin right now - sights, flavors and scents!

I created a side-folding A2 card base and rounded the right upper and lower corners. I created a pumpkin patch on the front panel with three strips of Pumpkin Washi Tape and then added three randomly-placed Pumpkin BradsI added a thin strip of orange cardstock across the top of the pumpkin patch and then added a computer-generated sentiment strip. The final touch was the addition of several orange drops.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

The Eyelet Outlet Spooky Bats are flying above while the Pumpkin Brads adorn the walkway covered in Brick Washi Tape.  The Monster, Witch, and Ghost (stamps by Recollections) scare the animals (Rabbit, Sheep & Pigs, and Horse & Pony Brads) as they move on to their next trick-or-treat destination.

The Eyelet Outlet brads, washi and bling make it easy to create a scene card.  Go ahead and give it a try!  Take a moment to check out these brads on the website and don't forget the idea gallery and the Eyelet Outlet Fan Page on Facebook.  Show us your creations!

You light up the world

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a fun all occasion kind of card that could be used for a variety of occasions! I love a black and gold/yellow color combo so when I saw these brads, the light bulb came on! Groan... pun intended, lol!

I created a landscape top fold card base and cut a panel about 1/16" smaller. Going from the bottom up, I applied Glitter Black Washi Tape on two-thirds of the panel and then added one strip of Glitter Gold Dots Washi Tape slightly above it. I added one white and four yellow Light Bulb Brads in a row evenly spaced across the top of the black portion of the panel, then attached the panel to the card base. I printed the digital sentiment, trimmed it and layered it on black cardstock, then adhered it to the bottom center of the panel to complete the front.

Gingerbread House

The recent release of Eyelet Outlet's Gingerbread Brads is exciting!  They are adorable, fun, and there is so much that can be done with them!  Today's card entitled "Gingerbread House" can be used either as a party invitation, or a welcome card for guests that may be staying at your home.

The Gingerbread House stamp/die is from Crafter's Companion.  Eyelet Outlet supplies include:  Gingerbread Brads, Silver and Black Enamel Dots (see note below), and Brick Washi Tape.

Note:  When photographing the card, I noticed the silver enamel dots faded into the background.  Because they were already adhered to the card, I grabbed a brown alcohol marker and colored them.  Problem solved!

Be sure to take a moment to visit the Eyelet Outlet site and check out the new Gingerbread Brads along with all the other Washi Tape, Brads, Bling, and more!

A Pinchy Thanks!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing an awesome thank you card featuring some super cool new brads in the store which I paired with skinny 'metal' Washi Tape and some enamel dots! Thank you cards are a basic necessity and I really enjoyed creating this one!

I cut a standard A2 sized top-folding white card base and a slightly smaller black cardstock layer. I pulled out one of my favorite patterned paper pads and created a background panel using two coordinating patterns complimenting the colors of the brads. I created the sentiment on the computer, printed and trimmed it, and adhered it in the center of the background panel. I added a strip of Copper Skinny Washi Tape at the top and bottom of the sentiment strip, added some Crab & Lobster Brads and adhered the panel on the black cardstock layer. I adhered the panel to the card base, and the final touch was adding a few Black Enamel Dots

Thanks so much for stopping by - we'll see you next time!

Happy Fall

Today's card entitled "Happy Fall!" provides a last look that the leaves turning into their fall colors.  There are two trees on my street that changed into vibrant colors earlier than all the other trees.  Because of that, they were the first trees to shed their lovely leaves.  All week I wondered when the last leaf would fall and I am still waiting!  If I were to be in charge of picking up the leaves, I would place the wagon under the tree and wait for that leaf to fall!  (Good News:  I am not in charge of gathering the leaves!)

The tree and wagon stamps are from Maymay Made It.  The Eyelet Outlet supplies include:  Sun Brad, Multi Pearl Sticky Back Jewels, and Leaf Brads.

Take a moment and head on over to the Eyelet Outlet site and check out all the fall brads, bling, and more!  Don't forget the newest release of Gingerbread Brads; they're adorable and perfect for the holiday season.
