Layouts on Fridays with Rosandra

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans, Rosandra here with another layout using the spooktacular Eyelet Outlet brads, washi tape, and bling.

  trick_or_treat_layout

My favorite of the Halloween themed brads has to be these spooky eyes brads. They add so much personality to the themed paper I used on this layout. You can easily replace the eyes on characters on any of your paper or favorite stamped images to add dimension and fun.

More fun with Halloween brads

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans!
Today we're sharing some more fun projects from our team! We'll let Rosandra share her project first.

Hi Eyelet fans, Rosandra here. It's hard to believe that we're doing fall and Halloween layouts and projects already. This week's project I decided to pull out an old Halloween mini book I have done yet and do the cover so it's ready for my photos in a couple months. The new witch hat brads were the perfect size for my stamped witch image. To cover up part of the stamped image hat I covered some cardstock with the silver washi tape and used a cirlce punch to create a glittery moon.

But my favorite has to be the new cat brads. I was so excited when I dumped them out and found that there were rear view brads of the cats. It was PURRRRfect replacements for my L's.

Next is Susie sharing a fantastically spooky design.

Design Team Wednesday with Kerry

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends!  Kerry here, since Halloween is coming soon.  How about a couple of Halloween cards?  Well, I absolutely all things Halloween!  If it's up to me, I'll make Halloween cards/project all year around.  LOL!

Anyways, enough talking...  I'm in love with the Stampers Anonymous Bird Crazy set, the birds are super super fun.  And of course, they are perfect to dress them up with some fun brads!  Plus, since watercolor is so popular right now.  I figured to give it a try.  I colored the crazy bird, dark sky background with watercolor markers.  For the ground, I added a piece of skinny washi tape.

Eyelet Outlet supplies:

Vampire alert!  Isn't he just Fangtastic?
Mr Vampire is coming out and ready for Halloween night?  LOL!  I created the sunset background using some Faber Castell Gelatos.  And of course, the card will not be complete without some bats?

Eyelet Outlet supplies:

Have a WICKED awesome day and see you soon for more Halloween fun!

Design Team Monday with Susie

Welcome Eyelet Outlet Fans!
Susie here with two new cards for you.

My cards today were inspired by the ones that our very talented Shemaine posted last Monday.  I loved the idea of using Washi tape to make plaid.  I loved it so much that I did it twice.  My first card is more line intersections than plaid....but still inspired by plaid.

My second card is much more representative of a real plaid.  It was super fun to make this design using four Washi tapes.  I just can't tell you how quick and easy it is to make designs like this using our Washi tape. For both cards, I used images from Julie Ebersole's newest line. Be sure to visit our Washi tape selection page.  You will find PLENTY to love!  And soon you will be making your own plaid patterns!!  That's it for now, but be sure to stay tuned here at the blog. We will be back with more inspiration before you know it!

If you have a chance, I would love for you to visit me at The Dies Have It.

No patterned paper required

Hello Eyelet fans. Some of you might have noticed that we have some pretty fun new designs of Washi tapes at a recent Expo or Creating Keepsakes event.

Today I want to share with you a few cards that you can easily create with your Washi tapes.

For the first card, I paired some of the thin tapes we have in fuchsia and gold along with the green glitter tape and made my own design.

Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape
Misc: Mama Elephant hello die
gold heart chipboard

For the second card I created a background with the butterfly washi and paired it with the silver glitter tape. I cut the sentiment in red to make it pop against the black.

Misc; Paper Smooches Thanks die
My Favorite Things Butterfly die

Both of these cards were created in 20 mins. So the next time you are short on time, pull out your washi and get creative.

Thanks for stopping by!
