Leslie's Holiday Favs!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here, sharing three of my favorite holiday projects created with our amazing products! When this idea was presented to our design team, we all loved it, so hopefully this is the start of a new holiday tradition!

The first of my three favorites is this adorable Merry Christmoose card! These Moose Brads are some of the coolest brads ever, which I paired with our Copper Skinny Washi Tape and White Enamel Dots to create this fun scene.

The card in the number two spot is this peaceful serene scene created with our Cardinal Brads and Cardinal Profile Brads against a Glitter Star Washi Tape background embellished with Snowflake Brads and White Enamel Dots.

And my third favorite is this step card shaker! Who can resist a shaker card?! Especially a shaker card filled with our gorgeous
Snowflake Sequins?! I also used clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling and Clear Bling Strips to embellish the snowflakes on the front of the shaker.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

This dishes are done and there are plenty of left overs in the fridge.

It's time to get your craft on and create your holiday cards.

Here are 3 more ideas to consider!

Are you a Washi Tape Lover?

Create your own patterned paper using various washi tape in the Christmas/holiday theme.
Putting them at an angle is pleasing to the eye!

How about paper flowers?
Layer our red Paper Flowers with a cardstock cut out...add some pearl bling...
and cut the green paper flowers to add the leaves.
The magic of Christmas makes a poinsettia!! Wow!

Are you one who is eagerly looking for Santa?

Our Mr. & Mrs. Claus Brads make a great focal point on your card,
without having to color them in. This is especially helpful when you are mass producing cards!

Other supplies:

Create a Barn Door by making 2 scores that have the edges meet in the middle.
Bend our Pewter Round Brads to create the door handles.

Designer Susan's Top 3 Holiday Picks

I've been on the Eyelet Outlet Design Team for quite a few years now and it's a little bit hard to pick my top three holiday projects, but after some deliberation, and without further ado, here they are...

NUMBER THREE

In 2018 I created this card using Cricut brand adhesive foil and bling from Eyelet Outlet, which is the most beautiful bling you will ever find!  I made this card in several different colors that year and the bling possibilities were endless. One trip to our bling section at the Eyelet Outlet store and you will see what I mean. This card was a favorite because even though I made several, they were all uniquely different and they practically made themselves!

Specific bling used for this card:

Snowflake Bling

NUMBER TWO

My gingerbread house gift box had to be included in my top three favs! The recipient thought the box was the gift!  I used a gable box from the Cricut image library for this project.  The roof lifts off to reveal the gift inside.  Can you count the Eyelet Outlet products on this one?

Prancing Deer Brad

NUMBER ONE

The sweet smiling face of my granddaughter when she received this Advent Calendar I made for her last year made Number One an easy pick for me! It's constructed from cardstock and the SVG is from My Scrap Chick.  I embellished the drawers with dozens of Eyelet Outlet products.

I'm sure you'll notice all of the products used above on the gingerbread box as well as these additional products:

Thanks for joining us this week as we reminisce on our favorite holiday projects.

'Twas the Day Before Thanksgiving

Here's a happy little card focusing on one of the most popular and iconic of our Thanksgiving Day pleasures: PIE!

Obviously I couldn't resist this sweet little slice from Doodlebug's "Pumpkin Spice" collection, especially since I knew it would pair well with my Eyelet Outlet Pumpkin and Rolling Pin Brads! To round out the design I also added a Leaf Brad, a Sunflower, a Heart and the Oven Glove from our Cooking Set.

Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Bears Bring Good Tidings!

It's Janet and today I am feeling in the Christmas mood. It's gotten a little chilly here over the weekend and even though it's going to warm up again, it got me to think of snow and cold crisp air.

This card perfectly reflects my mood. I started by creating the snowy hills. These were made with Sparkle White Glitter Washi Tape. I stacked strips of them and then cut the hills using dies. Next I stamped, colored and fussy cut the igloo. I also cut the preprinted sentiment strip.

I made an A2 sized card out of bright blue cardstock and then I blended Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Oxide inks in the sky. This really intensifies the blue color and provides dimension. Then I put the scene together by gluing the back hill flat on the card. The foreground hill is on foam tape. Then I applied the igloo to the foreground hill and tucked in two Pine Tree Brads. I placed the Polar Bear Brads on the hill as well. Then I applied the sentiment and inserted two Snowflake Brads into the sky. And I call that done!

I hope you enjoyed this one. Have a great Sunday and don't forget to check out the EO store for all your holiday card making!

Happy Creating Everyone!

Classic Step Card With Snowflake Shaker!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here, sharing a pretty Christmas card with you today. Seems I'm always in Christmas mode so I created a classic step card and added a snowflake shaker element which I filled with our Snowflake Sequins. I used clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling and Clear Bling Strips to embellish the snowflakes on the front of the shaker.

I used a step card die set to cut the card base from navy cardstock along with layers from silver cardstock and snowflake patterned paper which I adhered to the card base. I built the shaker element using a chipboard ornament. I used the snowflake patterned paper on the inside and then added several additional die cut rings (using two circle dies) cut from white cardstock to make the shaker just a tad deeper and then filled it with our Snowflake Sequins. I painted the outside rim and edge silver with a silver paint pen, and colored the snowflakes on the front of the shaker with alcohol markers in blue tones, adding clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling and Clear Bling Strips to embellish them. I adhered a tied snowflake ribbon to the top and added a stamped sentiment to complete the card.

Here are a couple more shots of this pretty card. Our snowflake sequins and bling are so awesome!

Gingerbread Cornhole Game

I've been busy crafting little games and gifts for my grandkids this week and I'd like to show you this fun desktop cornhole game I made for my granddaughter.  This game is made from cardstock and measures about 12 long.  I got the SVG file for this project from Simply Crafty SVG's, but I modified it to made it gingerbread themed.

I embellished the gingerbread house with an Eyelet Outlet peppermint candy brad, red and green enamel dots, and gingerbread kids on either side of the house.  I also added gingerbread kids, candy cane, and peppermint candy brads to the felt bean bag game pieces that I hand stitched.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Keep on crafting!

Merci Bouquet Triple Play

It's probably impossible to have too many Birthday or Thank You greetings on hand, so whenever I (Lauren) think of a fun idea, I like to make multiple versions. Since there are plenty of different Eyelet Outlet Flower Brad styles, when I thought of "Merci Bouquet" I was spoiled for choice!

I used the same Wood Washi and Mini Ladybug Brads in all three versions, but changed up the patterned paper backgrounds to match the flower styles. For my first card I made a bouquet of Colored Daisy Brads.

My second card features our classic Bright Daisy Flower Brads, which are on sale!

My third card combines Fall Stitched Flower Brads (they come in Minis and Brights, too!) with petals cut from a green Solid Color Paper Flower to act as foliage.

Check out all of the Flower Brad styles, not to mention the Flower Tapes, in the Eyelet Outlet Online Store!

Welcome to Santa's Town House

Hi everyone! Janet here to share a happy scene for Christmas. EO brads and embellishments often are sized perfectly to put into stamped scenes. I stamped and water colored this cheery house and I decided to fill it with several EO holiday brads.

Starting at the top, I've placed a wreath because every home should have one during the holidays! Mr and Mrs. Clause are in the windows and Mrs. Clause is wishing all a Merry Christmas. The tree is in the upstairs window and Santa waves hello in the bottom window. Two Snow People Brads welcome everyone at the door. Open the door and you'll see Santa's magical helper!

For snow, I've used a torn piece of White Sparkle Washi Tape. The snowflakes are Snowflake Bling set in all white.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic Sunday!

Bee Happy Envelope Box Card!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here, sharing a super fun Envelope Box Card featuring our Bumble Bee Brads and Pink Jewel Bling! I keep my Scan N Cut in a cabinet to keep it from getting dusty, so when I bring it out for a crafty session, I always cut several projects, and this card was one from the latest batch. I'm a real sucker for box cards - you've seen a few in the past and you'll see a few more coming up!

I cut the base from navy cardstock, and the rest of the pieces from white, gold, magenta, black, gray, and pink polka dot cardstock. Then the fun began of assembling the card! I added the sentiment using die cut letters and some Pink Jewel Bling. I added several Bumble Bee Brads and then added more Pink Jewel Bling to the flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

Mrs. Claus' North Pole Bakery

This card was much harder to make than meets the eye. The mechanics of it were simple enough, but I had the hardest time choosing which brads to use in Mrs. Claus' Bakery!!  Mrs. Claus, of course, was easy enough, but with so many baking and cooking brads in the Eyelet Outlet Store, the choices were hard to make!

At the end of the day I paired Mrs. Claus with the mixer brad, oven mitt from the cooking brad set, and the gingerbread boy and girl. Visit our food, drink, and cooking section at Eyelet Outlet and you'll see why I had such a hard time choosing!

Thanksgiving Vibes

Preparations for Turkey Day are well underway at my (Lauren's) house, with the merits of various types of dressing being hotly debated, and crucial decisions regarding veggie casseroles (green bean or broccoli??) still pending. So this seemed like a good time to get out some of my favorite autumnal EO Brads and make a card.

There's nothing particularly Thanksgiving-related about this fabulous super-wide Brick Washi, but it was my starting point for colors. I added clusters of Sunflower Brads, green Mini Stitched Flowers and red Heart Pearls around my sticker sentiment and finished things off nicely with a Pumpkin Brad.

And now back to the Big Question: pumpkin pie... or apple??!

secretly hates pumpkin pie!!!

Cupcakes Are Served!

Hello! It's Janet here to show you another card using the new Swirl Cupcake brads. This is a clean and simple card (CAS) that shows off the yummy looking cupcakes and one of the pink hearts from the Heart Brad Set. Sometimes the simplest things are the best things! Let's eat!

Have A Lovely Birthday!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here, sharing a pretty birthday card featuring our new Female Cardinal Brads which I paired with our Glitter Brown Washi Tape, Valentine Washi Tape and White Enamel Dots! Nothing like girls just hanging out jabbering to one another, lol!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from white cardstock along with layering panels from white and brown cardstock, and rounded the top left and bottom right corners. I stamped the branch and flowers on the white panel, added three Female Cardinal Brads on the limbs, and added strips of Glitter Brown Washi Tape and Valentine Washi Tape across the bottom. I stamped the sentiment in brown ink, cut it with a stitched oval die and adhered it to the bottom right. I adhered the layering panels together and then to card base, and added several White Enamel Dots to complete the front.

I cut the inside panel from white cardstock and embellished it with strips of the Glitter Brown Washi Tape and Valentine Washi Tape. I stamped the sentiment in brown ink and layered the panel on brown cardstock after rounding the upper left and bottom right corners.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

Let Us Adore Him

It's time to get started on my Christmas cards and when I found these three kings in the Cricut image library, I decided that they needed some crowns from Eyelet Outlet.

I also added one of the palm tree brads near the stable and some of our clear swirl bling to the star.

If you've started your holiday cards using Eyelet Outlet products, we'd love for you to share your creation with us at the Eyelet Outlet Fans Facebook group!  Don't be shy!
