family trip layout by Marina Gridasova

hello ladies! It's Marina here today and I want to share my layout with beautiful Eyelet Outlet embellishments )))
  a few close-ups:

Layouts on the white background are my favs now (especially if your photos are bright).

I love multi-layer work, so I decided to add a washi tape as the layer under the photo, and caused a bit of green spray around the edges.
I also glued a few strips of foil washi tape on a piece of white cardstock and die cut feather. Different enamel dots and pearls added dynamics to the work.

The final step is to add big title and yellow brads to supported color photos. And your layout complete! )))
here are Eyelet-Outlet products I used:
Foil washi tape - red
Film strip washi tape
Glitter gold dots washi tape
Pearl bling - black
Flower Jewels - green/pink
Enamel dots - purple
Binder clip brads
Spring bubble brads

Hope you will like my layout ))))

Gold Card

Hi everyone!!

Here Noe again! I would like to share with you my last card, completely out of my comfort zone, for me, it´s really hard to work with golden tones ...

This Sunday will be Mother's Day in Spain, so I have inspired in mine to make this card ... I hope you like it !!

I've covered a piece of cardboard with Glitter Washi  (Gold Patern) and then I passed it in the Big Shot with a stamp die.

On the other hand, I splashed my white papers flowers with Spray Mist ink in Bloom Gold Foil Color and with chinese black ink ... Once dry, I´ve placed in the middle a Scalloped Brad (14 mm Clear).

Finally, I´ve been filling free gaps in the card with  "Swirl Bling" (Jewel Champagne) and Enamels Dots... Ready!!

See you soon!! Happy Crafting!!

Say Cheese!

Hello again!  Can you believe that April is almost over?!  It has been a whirlwind week here as my 22 year old son and I are preparing for a trip to Italy with the Orange Park Chorale, so I spent most of the day yesterday working on my recently purchased Midori Traveler's Notebook (oh, I think I'm in love!) and on thank-you's for our tour guide and bus driver.

Our time abroad will be action-packed as we tour Venice, Florence, and Rome, singing four concerts along the way.  One of those concerts is in Lucca, which is near Pisa, so I wanted to include a Leaning Tower brad on my card.  I'm hoping for a photo-op to take a picture with Matthew there and for a place to print it...since the little file folder is adhered only on one side with foil washi tape, it flips up and the small photo will go underneath.  That way when our hosts get thank you's from a bus-full of choristers, they'll know who this one came from!  (I stamped a sentiment there just in case things don't go as planned!)

The package of brads that includes the Leaning Tower also includes the Colosseum, so I'll be making another card to go along with this one.  I wanted them to be busy, fun, and sort of "lights, camera, action" because that's what I'm expecting this trip to be.  My Midori is prepped so that I can jot down highlights and important things to remember.  I'll share that with you when we get back.  Until then, happy stamping!

Fair is Fair

Hello everyone!  Our spring fair is happening right now which isn't as big as our fair in the fall but one can still purchase delicious corn dogs and deep fried Twinkies!  I chose to make a boxcard this week using a design from the "Summer Box Card" collection from SVGcuts.
IMG_0730.JPG

Because a carnival has lights and sparkle I had fun using embellishments from eyelet outlet.  I added the self adhesive gold enamel stars, then used the pink sticky back jewels to the tent along with pink bling strips along the bottom edge.  The Ferris wheel actually turns as I used a cream pearl brad in the center which allows the wheel to rotate. I embellished the spokes of the wheel using purple jewel bling strips and then clear jewel bling for the cars.  The final layer on the box card is the game booth which I outlined with the green pearl bling strips.  At these carnival game booths you have a chance to win a prize.  I didn't have any more teddy bear brads or a rubber ducky brad  as any one of those designs would have been so cute but I used a  popcorn brad instead which looks just as cute.

If you haven't tried a box card yet I would encourage you to try it.  You will be surprised just how easy it is to make and they fold flat to mail in an envelope and they make such an impression when they are received.  Adding bling and brads from eyelet outlet makes it even more special!  Thanks for coming to the fair today, I hope you had fun!

My Right Kind of Weird

Have you checked out the new collection of flat-backed resin embellishments ... so many possibilities.

I couldn't resist these cute little pandas.  I paired them with a Unity Stamp Company Panda (he looks like he's pouting because he can't climb up the bamboo ... pretty much how I looked every time we had to climb the rope in grade school gym class).  Sentiment is Unity too.

I embossed kraft cardstock with my bamboo embossing folder and then used the direct-to-paper technique with my green ink pad.  It's really easy to attach the resin using glue dots.

I also couldn't resist designing with these cute little monkeys.  I had the perfect sentiment from So Suzy Stamps (you know you think this at least once a week).

I thought the popcorn & ticket brads were perfect to represent the Circus ... I embellished with a few sequins.

I added a tiny bit of bling to the flowers on those cute little monkey and embellished with some floral sequins.

I hope you have fun trying out these great new embellishments.

A Group of Cats

I love this adorable stamp by Rubbernecker Stamps called Group of Cats. They look like they are up to something, don't they? Or listening very carefully. Rubbernecker has some really adorable cat stamps and it was hard to choose. I have a list now!

I watercolored my background and then stamped the cats in Archival Black ink. I added a die cut sentiment and then three cute black cat brads (which also come in white!).
Thanks, Rubbernecker, for sharing your stamps with the Eyelet Outlet Team!

What Do Owls, Flamingos and Ice Cream Cones Have In Common?

Two things, actually: They're all *AWESOME* (obviously!) ...and... they're all part of Eyelet Outlet's new collection of jaw-droppingly adorable flatback resin embellishments! Hey there, it's Lauren here again, and as you can tell I'm pretty excited about these guys, so I'm going to start showing my cards right now:

Owls are famous for being wise, but Eyelet Outlet's Green Flatback Resin Owls are also pretty darned cute, don't you think? Whooooooooooooo could resist making anniversary cards that feature these guys? Not me, that's for sure! I've teamed them up with some Heart Brads and Heart Pearl Brads, just to emphasize the "love" in "Love, OWL-ways".

As fabulous as owls are, my favorite flying creature is still the flamingo... Let's face it, there's nothing cooler than a bird who's HOT PINK, as this Flamingo Flatback Resin proves quite conclusively:

A few Cloud Brads can't diminish the rays from my heart-shaped sunshine, in fact they make it even more lovely, especially when they're all floating in a watercolor sky!

Finally, we've come to my very VERY favorite embellishment (at least this week, lol!) the Ice Cream Flatback Resins! The detail on these is superb... they have textured cones, sprinkles, and even a cherry on top! What more could you ask for?

I've set them off with a few Eyelet Outlet White Paper Flowers adorned with Cherry Brads, between a couple of strips of Music Note Washi Tape. Can you spot the other tape I've used here? It's kind of subtle, but I love the shine that my scalloppy borders of Pink and White Dotted Foil Washi Tape give to the embellished panel. (Yes, I still use the Scallop Deco Scissors I bought when I first started papercrafting, years and years ago, lol!) One more Heart Brad sets off my stamped and colored sentiment.

Which of the brand new Eyelet Outlet Flatback Resin Collection is your favorite design? Is it one that I've used here, or one of the others in the shop, like the yummy Cupcakes, adorable Monkeys, or super-fun Schoolbuses? Tell me in the comments, or better yet, leave a link to your own creations! ♥

My name's Lauren, I love nearly everything that's pink (especially ice cream and flamingos!)
and I really love making cards for my friends and family;
I also love crafty friends, so I hope you'll stop by my blog,

Quick Trio of Cards w/ Video Tutorial

I got into card making mode and this time I used one sketch to create 3 cards in different colors.  Come take a look!!

I just got the new resins bows from Eyelet Outlet and I had to make something with them, so take a look at my process video!!

Here is a look at each card up close.

Instead of placing a sentiment outside the card, I placed it inside using the Rubbernecker Stamps.

http://www.rubbernecker.com/

I matched the colors of the resin bows (Flatback Bows) with the flowers (Cupcake and solid color in Teal and Yellow), brads (1/8 Spring Mix), and enamel stickers (Dots Hearts) to give 2 colors per card.
