Design Team Monday with Susie

Welcome Eyelet Outlet Fans!

Susie here with two celebration cards for 2015.  Can you believe the new year is just a few days away?  I know!

This past year went by quickly!

My first card is an elegant New Year's card with all the gold elements - the embossed die cut tree, the sentiment and the splatters.

Adorning the hills are two sweet little deer which you can find right here.  I wanted to add one of these snowflake brads, but I decided to give it a gold tint first.  I added some of the spray that I had used for the splatters and heat dried it.
Then I wiped it away from the top leaving the gold just in the crevices.

I hope you like this card as much as I do.

My second card is one that is going in the mail today to my grandsons.

I love these playful sock monkey brads. While you are looking at them on line, be sure to look at all the different sock monkey brads on the site.
I really couldn't choose a favorite!

We hope you have a wonderful start to 2015.

Be sure to stay tuned here at the Eyelet Outlet blog.
We always have something fun to share with you and inspire you!

If you have a chance, I would love for you to visit me at The Dies Have It.

Layouts on Friday

Welcome back Eyelet Outlet fans for Layouts on Friday!!!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. This week's layout should spark some ideas for all those photos you took.

 This was my inspiration sketch:

I just had too much fun with the pearl and jewel bling on this page. Maybe it's all the gift wrapping this week, but who doesn't love shiney things? It's a wonderful accent to separate the layers of patterned paper used in this layout.

Happy Holidays Eyelet Outlet fans and friends!

By now, you've sent your cards, bought most of your presents and you're generally ready for Christmas with only a few loose ends you need to tie. (And if you're not, then good luck!)

For me, one of those loose ends is packing gift cards. Rather than stick them in an envelope, I like to add some personal touches by creating unique gift card holders.

Today, I am sharing two gift card holders I made for a couple members of my family. Both are pocket style envelopes that I embellished with Eyelet Outlet products. If you're wondering where to insert the gift card, it's in the back.

Our last day of Holiday Inspiration Anything Goes

Welcome back Eyelet Outlet fans!! It's hard to believe next week is Christmas.

Today we are finishing up our holiday inspiration posts and I wanted to show you a great accordion book project for all those left over scraps of Christmas themed papers you have lying around {and Eyelet Outlet goodies} after weeks of holiday crafting.

  christmas_accordion_book

For pages 1 & 2 I used jewel & pearl bling and some poinsettia brads to highlight the die cuts.

  christmas_acordian_pages_1_and_2

Pages 3 & 4 showcases more jewel bling. On page 3 I added the green enamel dot from the holiday red & green pack to enhance the wreath paper. I also added a stippled brad to the Christmas ball. Page 4 features the holly brads as an accent on the jewel bling wreath.
To bring out the tree pattern I overlayed some of the trees with the holiday tree brads.

  christmas_acordian_pages_3_and_4

Finally on my last page I used some pearl bling to add texture to the die cut and some jewel bling to accentuate the border at the bottom.

Layouts on Friday with Rosandra

Happy Friday Eyelet Outlet Fans!!
I'm so excited to be sharing a new format for Layouts on Friday. I will be posting sketches I've found on Pinterest or created myself and show you how to incorporate all the Eyelet Outlet goodies.

  joy_christmas_layout

This week my "Joy" Christmas layout is inspired by this sketch I found.

  joy_christmas_layout_inspiration

For my layout I used a 5x7 photo instead and played around with the basic concept of the inspiration sketch. In place of the snowflakes I used the Paper Flowers (in Red Dots) with the 12mm Silver Edged Stippled Brads (in red). I distressed the paper flowers with ink so they would go with the vintage color scheme of my paper. I accented the tags with 12mm Gold Edged Pearl Brads (in brown) and I finished off my page with bits of the 5mm pearl strips (in cream).

Design Team Wednesday with Dawn

What is your Christmas style?
Are you blinged out and sparkley?  Then, you are going to want to be sure to have plenty of bling strips and bling sheets from the Eyelet Outlet on hand for last minute cards.  Here I created a tree using bling...and a few sequins.

Or...
Is your Christmas style more country, shabby chic?
Use Holiday Tree and Moose brads to wish others a Merry Christmas.  Washi Tape and bling strip in red are nice accents along with the metal rimmed tag.

Thanks for taking time from your Christmas preparations for checking out
ideas from the Eyelet Outlet.

Feel free to jingle on over to my blog, Sunnyside Up.

Design Team Monday with Kerry

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends!
Since the holidays are coming up really soon, I'm sharing a couple of fun simple tags using some of my favorite Eyelet Outlet goodies!

First tag!  I'm a big fan of the sock monkey!  Have you seen the Sock Monkey with Santa hats yet?!  Aren't they just super cute?!  Possibly singing a few holiday songs under the tree?  I also decorate the tree with some jewel strips, and finish the tag with some white pearl strips.

Supplies:

Second tag!  It's a winter wonderland in New England.  Brr...
I had so much fun creating this winter scene with some snowflakes, snowman, trees, and a perfect saying bubble!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great crafty day!
