Shine with Bees

 

Here is a fun summer project. This is a shadow box card I
 constructed and added paper to the background and a
chipboard with a sentiment. It was perfect to use with one
of my favorite brads from Eyelet Outlet - the bees. I love their
cute wings and shape.

I embellished the outside frame to the shadow bow with skinny
 gold washi tape (glitter) and added black pearls
to the corners. These were also Eyelet Outlet products.

I am always surprized when adding something simple 
like the washi tape provides the perfect finishing touch
to a card.

Shell Time

 

 Summer is my favorite season even though it is blazing hot here in the 

South. But we are close to the shore and we love to go hunt shells.

I could not wait to color this image from Simon Says and 

get to some fun embellishing From the Eyelet Outlet

The shell brads from Eyelet Outlet are fantastic and so realistic. In addition,
I added some gold glitter enamel dots to go with this color scheme. Finally I added
skinny glitter washi in gold to highlight the corners.

I love to make summer and sea related cards so you will be seeing 
more in the weeks ahead.

Look for the Rainbows

 

Spring is definitely on it's way and right on schedule, the rain is here too. Lots of good things come with rain and rainbows are one of the nicest. We have a very fun Weather Washi tape which is perfect for this card. Our Cloud Brads and the Teardrop bling make this card work.

Yep, let's stay classy through this!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing one final clean and simple card created with the new quarantine-inspired brads in the store along with some glitter washi tape, fancy long bling and pearls to appeal to your classy, glitzy feminine side! This is the last card in my series of CAS cards paying tribute to our frontline healthcare workers. This one is somewhat light-hearted with computer-generated front and inside sentiments, and a stamped addition to the sentiment on the front. ;)

I created a standard A2 size top-folding card base from black cardstock. The computer-generated front and inside sentiments were printed on white cardstock and the panels trimmed. I stamped 'stay classy' in black ink at an angle above the front sentiment. I added a strip of Gold Glitter Skinny Washi Tape and Pink Fancy Long Bling-Pearls and Jewels vertically down the left side, added two Toilet Paper Brads just to the left of the sentiment, and adhered the panel to the card base. The finishing touch was the addition of several single pearls from a White Pearl Bling Strip.

I embellished the inside panel with a single strip of the Gold Glitter Skinny Washi Tape and adhered it to the inside of the card base.
