STOP AND SMELL THE FLOWERS

 

This week’s card has an artistic/tropical feel to it.  I cut out bits and pieces of cardstock and placed them on top of the woman focal point.  

I added several of the Stitched Flower brads, as well as many different jewel, pearl and stippled bling.

 Such a simple card to make but the beautiful colors, fun embellishments from Eyelet Outlet make it a stunning creation.

A Bunny Note

 

I am still having fun making spring cards. I had this cute bunny
die cut from Spellbinders that I used and then designed 
the card in a diagonal manner.

The glitter washi tape from Eyelet Outlet is always my favorite 
and I used it to help accentuate the diagonal look. And, who 
says hearts are just for Valentine cards - I think they look perfect here.

The flower, brad, enamel dots and the bunny's little check are

Book Page Bunny Banner!

I love having handmade Easter decor around our home! Here is a fun bunny banner made with book pages for you to try!

  I started with tracing a bunny image on a book page and cutting out 3 bunnies. I then embellished my bunnies with various Eyelet Outlet products. For the eyes I used the 12mm jewel bling in blue, green, and pink. I added the heart for a nose from the Heart enamel sticker collection. I added a strip of light glitter washi at the neck line and decorated with a variation of pearl strips and green bling strip. I added the layered paper flowers for their bunny tail and embellished with a colored brad. The variations and possibilities are endless! I hope this inspires you to create a Easter Bunny Banner for your home or office today!

Loving Spring Flowers

 

Finally time to look forward to spring flowers and a more
colorful landscape. This card features an image from Colors of Love
and a die cut from Spellbinders.

Next I watercolored the image and started adding the flower brads
from Eyelet Outlet. I included a small jewel bling or small enamel dot
on each flower's center. Since this is a spring-inspired card I added
the fabulous dragonfly brads fluttering around. 
To finish off the card I added the blue washi tape (glitter) and 
a few more of the pink jewel bling.

The white flowers and the round purple brads are
also from Eyelet Outlet and are listed even though they
are not part of the actual card.
