Happy, Happy Birthday!

Birthdays are wonderful occasions to celebrate your friends and family!

I love the color palette of these washi tapes! And, when you can't choose just one, well... add as many as you can! I paired my assortment of washi tapes with a chalkboard sign stamp and greeting. Lastly, I added colorful balloon brads! Because, it's not a birthday party without balloons, right?? Hope you enjoy!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

It's an EO Rainbow

Would this be a good time for some Eyelet Outlet Brads, arranged by color? If so, here are some fab brads that are Pink, Green, Grey and Orange; and there's some coordinating EO Washi Tape, as well.

The brads on each of my 5 x 3.5" cards are as follows:

PINK: A Tiara from the Crown and Tiara set, a Flamingo, a Colored Daisy, an Easter Egg, some Flip Flops, two happy porkers from the Pig and Sheep set, a Heart Brad and a Cupcake Swirl; plus a bit of Unicorn Tape and Pink Dots Washi.

GREEN: There's a lovely base of a newer wide Grass Washi, on which we have a Frog and some Cat Tails from the Frog Set, a Tractor Brad, a Chameleon from the Reptiles set, some Beer, green Thread, and a pair of lovely Summer Trees.

GREY: A Dress Form, some Scissors (because silver counts as grey in the Laurniverse!), a Ring from the Wedding set, some Pipes, an Elephant from the Jungle Mix, a Laptop from the Computer and Headphones set, a Saw from the Saw and Toolbox set, a Wrench from our Tool Brads and a handsome Sketched Owl; with Road Tape and Silver Star Glitter Washi.

ORANGE: Ticket Washi and Orange Fan Tape make a base for: a handsome Ginger Cat from the Feline Brads, a Dinosaur, a Ticket from the Popcorn and Ticket set, Tigers from the second Jungle MixLeaf and Mini Leaf Brads, a Witch Hat, a Pumpkin and some yummy Candy Corn.

Stay tuned for four more awesome colors next week. In the meantime, all of these and MANY more are available in the Eyelet Outlet Online Store, or can be found in a trade show booth coming somewhere near you this summer! Complete list of dates and venues can be found HERE!

favorite color is RAINBOW!

Wishing You A REELY Happy Birthday!

I hadn't made a box card in a while and forgot just how much fun they can be to make and receive!  This movie themed box card was especially fun to make with the help of Cricut's Movie Night cartridge and the amazing Movie Themed Brads from Eyelet Outlet!

I also used a cute movie themed digital paper from Huckleberry Hearts.

Eyelet Outlet Ticket and Popcorn brads and Film Strip Washi Tape were a great addition to this card, too! The Ticket Washi Tape would have worked wonderfully as well, but I forgot I had that on hand!  Could that mean I have too much Washi Tape?  No!  Never!

The thing I love most about card making is the ability to personalize and by adding some text and using Print Then Cut on this movie clapboard, I was able to do just that!

Thanks for stopping by today, and if you're in the Houston area this weekend, come by the Creating Keepsakes Convention at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center!  Stop by the Eyelet Outlet both in the Vendor Area and we just might meet!

You Rock!

I think it's likely the former band & choir geek in me that makes me love all musical-themed craft supplies ... so when I saw the cool new Headphone Washi Tape it went immediately into my cart.

And as I was rummaging through my Eyelet Outlet Stash, I noticed how well the rainbow of headphones coordinated with the Rainbow Striped Washi Tape to create a fun background.  The background cardstock is Candy Corn from Taylored Expressions.

I used black accents to go with all of those bright colors ... Music Note Brads, Dark Sunglass Brads (ala Risky Business) and a row of Adhesive Black Pearls.

The fun sentiment is from Reverse Confetti Inner Rock Star.

Monster Movie Night!

Hello again, Eyelet Outlet fans! I (Lauren) recently acquired an envelope maker, and I *love* making custom envelopes. The gift-card size is especially cool, because you can make a card and envelope that not only MATCH, but coordinate with the theme of the gift card; which, in this case, is for a movie theater. And who better to act as spokesmodels for movie night than our very own Eyelet Outlet Monster Brads(Please note: the only thing scary about these guys is how cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute they are; but they think they're terrifying, so be a sport and go along with it for the length of the post, ok? Thanks.)

Double-sided paper is great for envelopes, but in this case, the reverse was plain, so I "lined" the inside of the envelope with Admit One Ticket Washi, which I applied before constructing the envelope. (If you don't have an envelope maker, this website has FREE templates for many different sizes, including giftcard.)

I wrapped another strip around the outside to give two of the adorable... (ahem!) ...I mean ferocious monsters a place to stand. Movie actors need dialog, obviously, for which I used my vintage typewriter; and they're STARS, so I diecut a few from plain cardstock with Glitter Black Washi.

These guys are *ALWAYS* ready for a closeup, lol!

The card coordinates with the envelope, naturally, but also features a few strips of Road Washi Tape, as well as some Popcorn and Ticket Brads.

I find the Purple Monsters are especially adorable... errrrrrr, I mean fierce
And very frightening! ♥

I hope you'll be inspired to make your own envelopes, or to decorate pre-made versions with super-fun Eyelet Outlet goodies!

Hey there, I'm Lauren
I love monsters and movies and blogging!
