Squeeze the Day!

When life gives you lemons, you're supposed to make lemonade. That's how the old saying goes, right? Well, I have another one for you. When you or someone you love is struggling with something, never give up and just SQUEEZE THE DAY.

This cheery, lemon themed card will remind the recipient to do just that.

I created the large lemons by sticking black outline stickers on top of white glitter paper and then colored them in with alcohol ink markers.

In the center of the cut lemon is an Amber Jewel Brad.

The outside corners are embellished with Purple Bumpy Bling.

The best part about this card is the three cute  Lemonade and Fruit Brads in the middle which are surrounded by Orange Jewel Bling. These brads really bring this whole card together.

So, when you are looking to make a card for encouragement don't forget to check Eyelet outlet and all the huge variety of brads and bling available to help get you inspired.

Happy New Year!

Are you ready to ring in the NEW YEAR?

Do you celebrate New Year's Eve with friends and family? Or stay in working on your New Year resolutions? Either way, this is a fun and quick card to create if you are heading out to a party or wanting to send a "New Year" greeting! I started with black cardstock then created stripes using the black glitter and purple glitter washi tape. I added the purple pearl stripe, blue jewel stripe and purple jewel swirls. I printed a digital banner stamp and colored in with alcohol markers. I stamped 2023 and cut out to adhere with  foam adhesive. I created a sentiment strip for "Happy New Year" and thought it to be fun, festive, and sparkly greeting card!

I hope you are enjoying this Christmas season! Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

It's All About The Details

Hello Eyelet Outlet Crafters!  Did you know that in United States the custom of kids trick or treating didn't start until the 1930's and 40's?  Kids were given homemade treats, such as popcorn balls, cookies, cake.  Halloween candy became commercialized in the 1970's and just this  last October in 2021, the candy sales reached the highest ever at 10 billion dollars! I decided to go old school this year and I am going to make homemade treats for my neighbors. Today I am sharing with you one of the several Popcorn treat boxes that I made using Doodle bug papers Fright Night collection. This fun popcorn box cut-file was easy to cut out on my Cricut and fast to assemble with a little folding, scoring and some glue. The best part of making crafts is decorating in my opinion. I used some of EO's Yellow Enamel dots and   Multi- Size Orange Pearl Bling. I also removed some of the purple pearl flat backs of the Purple Pearl Strips and glued them on to my popcorn box. I also created a little card/tag and added one of EO's 1/16" Tiny white eyelets to not only strengthen the tag but it added that extra special touch to make this popcorn box spooky cute. Lastly, I  embellished the box with a cute Doodle bug skull  sticker and glued on some kooky little googly eyes.

You're Too Cute to Spook

When I saw the fun Ghost Washi Tape, I knew I wanted to create some ghost embellishments to pair with it.

I freehand cut these spooky cuties out of sticky-backed felt and then added some Spooky Eye Brads, adorable Men's Hat Brads and black cardstock mouths.

I further embellished with Bat Brads and Purple Pearls ... love these cuties and that fun washi tape.

Here's another fun Halloween card featuring a Purple Zig Zag Washi Tape background.

I added some Light Purple Glitter Washi Tape vertically with some fun coordinating Witch Hat Brads.  The stamped sentiment is from The Project Bin's Haunt It Stamps.

Have you started making your Halloween Cards yet?
