Hanging Out

Hello everyone!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards with you today.

When I saw the cute Hanger Brads, the idea "Hanging Out" came to me immediately.  Now, how to incorporate it into a card...

Before my association with Eyelet Outlet, I rarely used washi tape; so I knew I wanted to use that as well.  Now, I'm having such fun with it I wonder why I rarely used it.  I made my card today using these luscious tapes:

That red and green washi would work great on Christmas cards, tags and projects as well!

I'll show you a picture of my card first and then share a bit about how it came together.

I made a vintage armoire using a cut file I found in the Silhouette Store.  I used Confetti White card stock, embossed it with a Woodgrain embossing folder and sponged all the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  The handles and the center medallion for the finial were made using the Multi-Sized Pearl Bling, colored with a Gold Leaf Pen.

I had such fun filling this armoire.  I found a free clip art dress image and traced it in my Silhouette.  I cut it and it became the base for my washi; which I attached trimmed the edges.  I added pockets of glitter washi and even added a pair of matching shoes for each.  The greeting appears on the inside of the doors.

I added a third hanger because it looked a bit empty in the middle.  Here's a closer look:

And here's the inside of the card...another hanger for good measure!

I hope you like my card and much as I liked sharing it with you.

Before I leave you I want to share some exciting news...Eyelet Outlet is having a sale just in time for Christmas!  That's right, you get 20% off any order over $20.00.  Just use the code hoho20 at check out!  The sale ends December 10th, so don't delay!  And there's free shipping on orders over $75.  Happy shopping!
