Here Come Peter Cottontail...

 Hopping down the bunny trail!

Easter is such a fun time to create special cards and notes to slip into Easter baskets! I loved playing with the rabbit brads in chocolate and pastel! For Peter, I added little "brass buttons" for his coat using the champagne swirl bling jewels. And of course my new favorite green grass washi was perfect! Lastly, I used the light purple glitter washi for my border.

I hope this inspires you to create some fun Easter cards for your friends and family! Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

Happy Easter

It's a wet and chilly day here in Central Texas, but Spring is in the air at Eyelet Outlet!  We have some of the prettiest Spring washi tapes and fabulous Spring themed brads you will find anywhere and today I'll be showing you just a few.

I started out with this cute "Easter" border from Cricut's "Celebrate All Year Long," image set, not really knowing what I'd use as a background paper.  I tried a number of different colors and patterns, but then I spied this gorgeous wide floral washi tape on my craft table and knew it would be perfect peeking out from behind the Easter eggs.

What's Easter without some chocolate bunnies?  Our little chocolate bunny brads are so cute alongside our Easter egg brads, don't you think?

See you next week!  Until then, keep on crafting!

Hippity, Hoppity...

...Happy (almost) Easter Daaaaaaaay! Hi folks, it's Lauren here again, wishing you a very happy holiday if you're celebrating. Or just an especially nice weekend if you are not. Either way, why not treat yourself to a chocolate bunny... or at least... some Eyelet Outlet Chocolate Bunny Brads?

I've heard that some people don't actually enjoy chocolate?! So luckily we also have realistic looking Rabbit Brads and super cute Pastel Rabbits as well. Of course all bunnies love Carrots so I've grabbed a few out of the Vegetable Brad set. And Easter wouldn't be the same without beautiful Colored Eggs, but we've also got plain (white and tan) Egg Brads, should you need some. (And there are fried eggs in the Breakfast Brad set, too!)

My second card is an all-occasion greeting, but it's in pretty Spring colors, so I thought I'd post it here too. This one features my favorite Hugs and Kisses Tape plus some Skinny Washi and Pastel Hearts Enamels.

Happy Easter and Happy Spring!!!

always eats the ears off a
chocolate bunny first!

Never Leave Two Bunny Cards Alone On Your Blog...

...because when you come back, there'll be *three* bunny cards! See?

Hi guys, it's Lauren here with a trio of Easter cards I hope EVERYBUNNY will love! Card one features my favorite new Bunny Tape, which I love because it's got loads of fun spring colors. I accented the purple on this card with a few strips of Skinny Glitter Purple Tape. A pair of purple Paper Flowers holds a couple of adorable Rabbit Brads who are wishing us a happy holiday via an Easter Bubble Brad.

My second card uses the same Bunny Tape, but this time instead of covering the whole panel, I've alternated strips with Pink Checked TapeSkinny Pink Washi and Skinny Green Washi. I've stacked one pink and one white Paper Flower to make a little spot for two Pastel Rabbit Brads and another Easter Bubble.

My third card is a bit of a cheat, because that beautiful Rabbit Wide Washi Tape is exclusive to the Eyelet Outlet Booth and isn't available through the online store! Which gives you all the more reason to check out the Trade Show List on the right sidebar, so you can be sure to know when Eyelet Outlet is coming to your town! I've added a few strips of Skinny Green Tape and this time a pair of Chocolate Bunnies is talking through an Easter Bubble, on top of a few white Paper Flowers.

There are even more cool Easter brads and tapes in the online store and in the EO booth... I'm positive you can find YOUR favorites!

wishes EVERYBUNNY who's celebrating
a very Happy Easter!

Easter Eggs

So glad you've stopped by today to see an Easter card I've made for you!  This card brought back some fond childhood memories of coloring Easter eggs with my family.

I used a coffee cup from Cricut's Love You A Latte cartridge, but instead of "coffee" I filled my cup with "food coloring" to match the Eyelet Outlet Easter Egg Brads and then adorned my cups with some swirl bling to match. The pretty basket and sentiment are from Cricut Easter 2010 cartridge.  Final touches were a beautiful Stitched Flower Brad and sweet Chocolate Bunny Brad.

Thanks for coming by today!  If you're in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we'd love to meet you at the Scrapbook Expo March 23 & 24.

Shades of Spring

It's my pleasure to welcome you to the weekend! This is Rebecca, and I have a couple of cards to share today.  An extra warm welcome to anyone visiting from the Eyelet Outlet booth at the Pleasanton, CA Scrapbook Expo!

I saw my first Reese's egg and Cadbury bunny commercials on February 15th, and now I'm obsessed with thoughts of spring and Easter candy.  Is that normal?  All the Girl Scout cookie tables aren't helping, either.

But instead of eating a giant Easter basket's worth of sugar, I dove into my washi and brad stash and crafted a little spring sunshine!

A bright mix of washi, brads, dots and paper flowers, all circling a bling strip....not as tasty as a bag full of Starburst jellybeans or some caramel-filled anything, but the work kept me out of a box of Girl Scout cookies, so there's that.

I liked it so much, I tried this second version for an Easter card.

I added some gold Sharpie marker on a chocolate bunny to make them looked wrapped and to match the card sentiment.  I just can't stop myself - now I'm dreaming of Lindt!

Easter Bunny Basket

Happy Tuesday, Barbara here with a super cute Easter basket that is quick and easy. I followed a tutorial from Split Coast Stampers, the video was very easy to follow step by step. This basket is for my will be for my great grandson who will be 8 by Easter.

It is 1 1/2 inches deep 1 1/2 inches wide and about 5 inches long, just big enough for the golden bunny from Lindt and a few foil eggs.

I just had to use some more of those adorable chocolate bunny brands from Eyelet Outlet.

I used a bunny brad on each end to secure the handle, I die cut some grass and attached it around the whole basket and secured it with the most adorable bunny washi tape from the Eyelet outlet. I'm sure I could make a lot of baskets with the amount of washi tape on that roll.

Here is the picture of the handle of the basket, I used more bunny washi tape on it. I love that the polka dot pattern shows through.

this is one of the many designs in the store.

Check out the Eyelet Outlet and Brad store there are brads, eyelets, flowers, washi tape and much much more for any occasion you are creating something for. don't forget to look for the daily special.

Thanks for stopping by.

Yummy, Yummy Chocolate Bunny!!

Barbara here with a new creation for the Eyelet Outlet  I was so excited to see the chocolate brads and knew just what I wanted to do with them which was pair them with a cute bunny image from Mel Jen's Designs  and here is what I did with them......

The super cute chocolate bunny brads come in packages of 12, 6 of each design. I added one to the basket and two in the grass. The background paper is ready made with the smooched design.

close up of the basket with the bunny in it.

I used one of the super cute Easter saying brads, there are 4 different sayings in the package of 12 and they can be found HERE

Close up of the left facing super cute bunny. I also wanted to hide some eggs in the grass so I used Glitter enamel dots in pink, you can find them HERE. they were the perfect size to hide in the grass.

Thanks for stopping by today to see the super cute Easter products they have at the Eyelet Outlet Store.  Check out all the other products there are for all occasions and there are daily deals too.

Hoppy Easter!

Hello, all, it's Lauren here again. I just couldn't resist making one more Easter card featuring Eyelet Outlet's adorable Chocolate Bunny and Pastel Rabbit Brads:

This idea was pretty serendipitous: I just happened to have a roll of Rabbit Washi Tape sitting on my work table next to a few pieces of vintage sheet music I had used for a different project, when I noticed that the space between the treble and bass clefs was exactly the same size as the tape... clearly it was meant to frame some super-cute Easter goodness!

One of my favorite things about Eyelet Outlet is that the packets of animal brads always contain some critters that face right and some that face left... which means they can interact! I liked the idea that the bunnies on the tape and the bunny brads could talk to each other via Easter Bubble Brads, so I added a few of those. Since the shape was kind of long and narrow, I decided this should be a tall card, and matted the little scene with a few papers that would make those yummy Chocolate Bunny Brads stand out!

Wishing an especially Happy Easter to everyone who is celebrating!

Easter Flip-It Shaker Card

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans!!
This week I went off my usual layout post path,
because I couldn't resist doing a cute card for Easter
with this cute pastel rabbit brad.
(He's also available in chocolate.)

Since this card is a flip-it style card I needed to hide the brad tabs on the other side.
So what did I do? Well use a paper flower and bling!!
I added some color wheel washi tape and oval egg bling for more interest.

Supplies

Come back next week and until then... happy crafting.

What Did the Chocolate Rabbit Say to the Chicken?

Hello everyone ... I'm Stephanie (you might know me by my crafty moniker SmilynStef), one of the new Design Team members at the Eyelet Outlet.

I'm a pretty fast & furious creator who is always on the lookout for inspiration.  I love using a wide range of styles and products when I create.  I'm a midwesterner who spends my days as a Chief Credit Officer focused on commercial lending ... and my nights and weekends using the other side of my brain creating in my studio.  My husband is a postal carrier, which is the perfect match for a card-making, card-mailing gal.

I love traveling to places I have never been, eating foods I have never tried, and riding in the car with the windows down.  You will never find me without lip balm, dental floss and my sunglasses.  I also love sushi, dark chocolate, and roasted vegetables.

You can find me at my blog Ingenious Inkling ... or at the holiday card blog Jingle Belles that I co-host with fellow Design Team member Lauren.

I'm so glad to be with you today sharing my first Eyelet Outlet card.  I had so much fun creating a little Easter scene using lots of different eyelets and some washi tape too.

It all started with the Chocolate Easter Bunny and the Hey Chickie brad from Easter Bubble Brads.

Then of course the Chicken Brad needed to continue the conversation with another Easter Bubble Brad.

The last step was to invite the Gnome to the party to finish with some Spring Wishes from the Easter Bubble Brads.

I just love all of those happy colors and the fun conversations between all of my fun little creatures.

The final touch was a piece of Enjoy Life Washi Tape, which looks great on the green hills.
