Enjoy Your Day!

Hello everyone! I always enjoy decorating clothing items with Eyelet Outlet brads and bling. It often is just the right size for various clothing dies. Whether it's an apron, t-shirt, or sweatshirt, brads like the PiƱata look great on them.

I made this card by cutting out a stitched scalloped rectangle. Then I cut a window and cut a smaller navy rectangle from a nested set. The green polka dot frame is actually Green Dot Washi Tape. I placed the tape so that it would border the two rectangles. I then went about making the sweatshirt. I covered a piece of white cardstock with Pink Checked Washi Tape. I cut it out with the die and pieced it together. I added a Pinata Brad and two pieces of red sticky back Heart Pearls. I mounted the sweatshirt on the card with foam tape. I stamped ENJOY and heat embossed it. A Heart Brad was placed and then I mounted it with foam tape. I stamped the two other sentiments on white cardstock and placed them. Finally I used three pearls in the Pearl Strip Bling on the left corner. This made a super cute card with lots of movement and texture.

NOT Just for Cards!

Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape, Paper Flowers and Brads, that is. You can also use them to make customized gift bags, like this one. Just cover plain white cardstock with neat strips of tape (this variety is Happy Birthday Foil Washi)... print out an initial in your favorite font (this one's called Chicken Pie and was free on dafont.com)... trace and cut. Embellish with a few shades and sizes of Solid Color Paper Flowers held on with CandleParty Hat and Cupcake or Cupcake Swirl Brads. For even more color and pizazz, diecut hearts from a coordinating tape, like Pink Checked Washi and use one repeat of the Birthday Tape to create your sentiment strip. Scatter a few Round Sequins and you're good to go. And yes, all of the above looks pretty good on a matching birthday card, as well!

There are brads, tapes, flowers, sequins, bling and more for every style, theme or occasion you can possibly imagine in the EO Store... you should probably check that out!

now only buys plain gift bags!

Make a Wish

If you wished for some brand new Eyelet Outlet Brads in the next couple of weeks, then you're in luck because we have some beauties coming out, including these gorgeous Rose Brads!

Rose Brads would be a beautiful addition to just about any card, tag or journal page; they'd be lovely in a vase, climbing up a fence or pretty much ANYWHERE you'd care to place them, but I (Lauren) have to say that I'm pretty pleased with how they look on top of a birthday cake! I've also used four gorgeous Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape Styles: Pink CheckedGreen Pattern Tape, Wood Washi and Heart Tape from our Valentine Washi Set; and framed up this sweet little tableau with some Green Pearl Strips and added a Candle Brad to boot.

Stay tuned to the Eyelet Outlet Blog to see how our amazing Design Team are using all of the fabulous new brads, coming mid-month to the Eyelet Outlet Store!

hopes she ROSE to the occasion when making this card!

Everybunny's HOPPY!

Oddly enough, this Eyelet Outlet Easter card has NO brads on it... HOW is that even possible? Well of course I (Lauren) love our Brown Rabbit Brads and our Pastel Rabbit Brads, but there are also quite a few awesome Bunny Tapes and Rabbit Washi styles, and I've used two of them here:

I applied both styles of tape in neat strips onto plain white cardstock. Then I used two alphabet die sets (Altenew's Bold Alphas and Lawn Fawn's Henry's ABCs) to cut out the sentiment from the colorful Bunny Tape. I fussy cut five sweet little dudes from Wide Rabbit Washi to peep out from the letters of "Hoppy" and added a few pink Heart Enamel accents. I layered the whole design over a couple of strips of Pink Check Tape and called it a day.

Cool love!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a fun card that could be used for a Valentine, an anniversary or wedding, or just because! This card design is super simple and features some of our newest brads in the store, which I just love, paired with some awesome Washi Tape! I've always loved Washi Tape in general, but my love is slowly growing to an addiction, lol!

I cut a standard A2 sized top-folding white card base along with a slightly smaller black cardstock panel. I created a computer-generated sentiment, printed it and trimmed it with sentiment in the top one-third of the panel which I layered on the black cardstock panel. I covered a piece of cardstock with Pink Checked Washi Tape and die cut a stitched square. I added two Ice Cream Brads and several tiny black punched hearts, then adhered the die cut piece to the layered white panel which I adhered to the card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by - we'll see you next time!

A Trio of Couples

Nothing's cuter than a happy couple, especially if we're talking about a COUPLE of Eyelet Outlet Brads, dressed up for the holidays; like Santa and Mrs. ClausMr. and Mrs. G. Bread, or our sweet Snow Couple!

The other day I came across a set of tiny shaped tag dies I bought in January and realized I had not yet used them?! My first thought was that ATC's would be the perfect size, and that I should start with the Snow Couple. A background of blue paper with polka dots seemed like a tiny snowscape and I love this woodgrain cardstock for extra texture. I added a strip of Pink Checked Tape and solid pink Skinny Tape to represent the strong vertical line of the sketch.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are probably the most famous Christmas couple, and the heart of the North Pole. I rotated the sketch and added Heart Washi and Red Stripe Foil Tape this time.

The Gingerbread Brads are the newest in the EO line-up, but they're very sweet... in every sense! This time I flipped the sketch and paired them with Poinsettia Tape and Skinny Striped Washi.

ATC's are always fun to make and swap; OR you can build them into the focal point of a bigger tag or card. And there's definitely an Eyelet Outlet Brad to suit every taste!

loves making holiday projects!
