Mrs. Claus Cookie Company

When I finished this buckle fold card I had the biggest craving for some gingerbread!

Mrs. Claus is so cute and her kitchen is so perfectly adorned with fabulous Eyelet Outlet products!

I created this card with my Cricut and if you're a Cricut crafter, too, I've shared the file for this card on my Cricut profile so you can recreate it.

Flour Power

Nothing says, "Happy Birthday" as well as cake, but since that's kind of hard to fit into an envelope, how about a card featuring Eyelet Outlet Cupcake Swirl Brads and baking accoutrements like Mixer and Cup Brads, Pan and Rolling PinBaking Brads, the oven mitt from our Cooking Brads set, a Heart Brad and coordinating vertical Heart Washi Tape.

Whether you're into baking, fishing, driving, camping, eating or... well, pretty much anything else, Eyelet Outlet has all the brads, tapes and embellishments you need!

does not actually bake, but is available to test the baked goods of others!

Housewarming Card

Eyelet Outlet's Food/Drink/Cooking collection is what first attracted me to their awesome brads waaay back in 2009!  Today I've put brads from three of those sets to work in a housewarming card.

I know it's a little snarky, but I think the recipient will laugh and especially enjoy the Door Dash Gift card that will be tucked inside!

The boxes I used for this card are from the Cricut image library and I used brads from the Cooking Brad Set, Baking Brad Set, and the Pan & Rolling Pin Set.

If you happen to be in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area this weekend, stop by the vendor are at the Creating Keepsakes Convention and see us in person!

'Twas the Day Before Thanksgiving

Here's a happy little card focusing on one of the most popular and iconic of our Thanksgiving Day pleasures: PIE!

Obviously I couldn't resist this sweet little slice from Doodlebug's "Pumpkin Spice" collection, especially since I knew it would pair well with my Eyelet Outlet Pumpkin and Rolling Pin Brads! To round out the design I also added a Leaf Brad, a Sunflower, a Heart and the Oven Glove from our Cooking Set.

Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Baking Spirits Bright

Have you seen Eyelet Outlet's newly released gingerbread boys and girls?  They are so darling!  Today I'm bringing you a cute Christmas card that features these little cuties along with our mixer brad, rolling pin brad, and cookie sheet brad.

The cute vintage cookie cutter box is an image from KB and Friends Etsy Shop.  They have several of these vintage boxes that I've been having so much fun mixing with various Eyelet Outlet brads!  The little cookie cutters inside the box are from Cricut's Gingerbread image set.

I hope you'll pick up some of new gingerbread boys and girls and show us the creative ways you use them on our Eyelet Outlet Fans Facebook Group!

Pizza Party

Each time I take an afternoon to scrapbook I come away thinking I should do it more often!  Recipe scrapping actually was where my papercrafting journy began in 2009 and also when I first became acquainted with Eyelet Outlet.  I was scrapbooking family favorite pie recipes for my daughters at the time and was in search of great cooking themed embellishments and I sure did find them at Eyelet Outlet!

Recently my granddaughter and I made a family favorite - homemade pizza and after her visit, I made a two sets of these scrapbook pages - one for her book as well as one for my own cookbook.

The images I used for my pages came from the Cricut image library. Since we topped our pizza with both red and green bell peppers, I used one of each color from Eyelet Outlet's Vegetable Brad set on the cutting board.  The knife is from Cricut's "From My Kitchen" image set.

I love that Eyelet Outlet's got so many different colored enamel hearts and shapes. There's always a color that compliments my project.  Here I used yellow and white.

The cute pizza themed digital paper comes from PrettyGrafic's Etsy shop.  There's 12 different patterns in the set, but this one with the little pizza chefs was perfect, don't you think?

I used Eyelet Outlet Flour Canister brad (Sugar is in the set, too), the Wooden Spoon brad from the Baking Brads set and the Rolling Pin brad from the Cooking Brad set to embellish my recipe card.

If one of your goals is to preserve your family's favorite recipes with a recipe scrapbook, be sure to check out the Food, Drink, and Cooking brads at Eyelet Outlet!

Flippin' Awesome

Hi!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards and today I've "cooked" up a card to celebrate the chef in your life!  It incorporates the Cooking, Baking, Pan & Rolling Pin, and Mixer & Cup brads as well as Silver Glitter Enamel Dots.  The Cooking Washi Tape goes perfectly with these brads.  I also used the Skinny Silver Washi Tape in between to accent.

On the reverse, there's room for your sentiment.  And you could put another brad or two, or more, on the back as well.

The card base was cut using a file purchased in the Silhouette store.
