It's Fall Y'all! My First Fall Card of the Season

It's officially fall, y'all, and I'm so excited to share my very first autumn card of the season! Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year, with its mild weather and all the cozy things that come with it. (Of course, that's until Christmas rolls around, then it's a whole new favorite!)

This card features two super fun washi tapes - Gnome Garden Washi Tape and Bee Washi Tape. I've sandwiched them between strips of embossed vellum, which adds a subtle texture. This card was even easier to create because I used a pre-printed card base—it's always great to find a good shortcut!

Decorating this card are a Gnome Brad 2, a Sunflower Brad, three Leaf Brads and three Glitter Enamels. Eyelet Outlet embellishments always take my cards from good to great with minimal effort. You have to love that!

Thanks for joining me here today and please visit the EO store for all your brads, washi tape, bling and paper flowers!

Happy Creating!

Under the Tree

The new Eyelet Outlet Gift Brads are fairly awesome on their own, but of course the best place for them is under a Christmas Tree, right? So that's where I (Lauren) have put them.

In this case the tree --decorated with Green Pearl Bling and a Glitter Enamel Star-- is stamped and the room is composed of five different EO Washi varieties: Gold Script TapeHeart WashiWood TapeStar Gold Tape and Christmas Pattern Washi, to be precise. But maybe my favorite thing is the art on the wall: a Nutcracker Brad, matted on a little scrap of Wood Tape, diecut into a frame shape.

is already thinking about
Christmas decorations!

Flippin' Awesome

Hi!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards and today I've "cooked" up a card to celebrate the chef in your life!  It incorporates the Cooking, Baking, Pan & Rolling Pin, and Mixer & Cup brads as well as Silver Glitter Enamel Dots.  The Cooking Washi Tape goes perfectly with these brads.  I also used the Skinny Silver Washi Tape in between to accent.

On the reverse, there's room for your sentiment.  And you could put another brad or two, or more, on the back as well.

The card base was cut using a file purchased in the Silhouette store.

Make a dazzling statement!

Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape comes in all sorts of styles.
But one of the most fun is our glitter washi tape.
It always makes such a great statement on cards and it easily mixes and matches with your regularly printed washi.  Need a little upscaling?  Try Glitter washi tape!

Also, check out those glitter enamels.  Subtle...but noticeable!

We are doing inventory and stocking our shelves for the Orlando, FL

Blinged-Out Christmas Trees

One of my favorite things to create with Eyelet Outlet Swirl Bling are blinged-out Christmas Trees.

I usually start with a smaller piece of bling and position it in the middle of my Christmas Tree.  Next I perform bling-surgery to cut apart the swirls to fill all the space in the tree.

This is a silver metallic tree decked out with Silver Pearl Swirl Bling.

And one of my absolute favorite tree toppers is an Eyelet Outlet Square Gem.

Here are those same Square Gems topping some paper trees.

This tree was blinged-out with Clear Bling Swirls.

White Eyelet Outlet Glitter Enamel Dots make awesome tree decorations too.

And more silver glitter enamel tree decorations here.

Bling Flourishes are also perfect for steam coming from a fresh mug of hot cocoa (yes, I like my mugs big).

I hope this gives you some ideas for blinging-up your Christmas Card with Eyelet Outlet.

Did you know we have a Flickr Gallery to showcase Eyelet Outlet Design Team Creations?

Thank You BEAR-y Much

Hi guys, it's Lauren here, with a fun idea inspired by these adorable Eyelet Outlet Winter Animal Brads. I'm planning to use this as a thank you note for some cool holiday gifts I received, but it would work for any wintery occasion.

I love that each packet of Winter Animal Brads contains white bears, brown bears and super-cute penguins!

For this card, I've made two of the white bears adornments for a pair of mittens I've constructed from a bit of plaid paper I hand-painted using my favorite watercolor pigment powders. I used a piece of clipart for the shape, and cut the two mittens back-to-back with scissors so that i'd have a right and left hand to use on my card. I added White Glitter Enamel Dots to the cuffs and a piece of yarn to bump up the texture factor.

A computer generated sentiment and a few white Heart Brads finish off the design. And now I'll just wish you a BEAR-y Happy New Year... see you in 2017! ♥♥♥
