Floral Sympathy

I love this new wide Washi Floral Washi Tape ... the wider tape makes it much easier to cover the front of a card ... and the transparency of this tape allows it to have lots of different looks depending on your background paper.

This is how it looks on a darker blue cardstock.  I added a lovely row of black pearls to accent my sentiment.

This is the same tape on light blue cardstock.  One trick when you cover cards with washi tape is to burnish it with a bone folder to allow the background color to show through as much as possible.

So many possibilities for creating with this gorgeous tape.

  1. Very pretty, love how the washi tape picks up the different colour cardstock and the pearls are just cute.

  3. I would not have thought to use the washi tape this way. I was afraid you'd see the lines where the pieces met, but your cards look seamless! I love that you shared how you can achieve an entirely different look just by changing the card stock! Thanks for some great inspiration!
