My Punny Little Tags - Final 3

Hi Ai Fans! Today I'm showing off my last three punny tags. I created a series of six. Check out the post from last week to see the first six HERE.

The puns were taken from the Think & Grin section of the October 2022 Scout Life magazine. They're silly and remind me of the days when the two most funny words to my son were, "Dirty Underwear!" The mere mention of underwear alone would send he and his friends into hysterical giggles. Those were the days! All the puns were submitted by Cub and Boy Scouts across the country. As I read the puns in the magazine, my mind automatically went to thinking about what brads would go with the jokes.
These tags are a result.

In this one I've use the Baking Brads and Feline BradsGold Glitter Enamel Dots are also used.

In the next tag, I've used the Mail Brads and Blue Glitter Enamel Dots.

And in my final tag, I've used the Trout & Bass Brads and the Fishing Pole Brads as well as Purpll Glitter Enamel DotsRed Glitter Enamel Dots.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please visit the store for all your brads, washi tape, bling and paper flowers! Stop by next Sunday to see three more tags. It'll be a punny good time!

Happy Creating Everyone!

REEL Great Dad

Father's Day is around the corner and Eyelet Outlet has your card making covered with great Dad brads!

The star of this card is that water!  It was my first time using the Eyelet Outlet Wide Water Washi Tape and let me tell you, it is so cool!  It may not come through in the photo, but you honestly think your hand will get wet when you touch it!

I also played on my REEL theme by using three of the Eyelet Outlet rod & reel brads.  Of course, what fishing themed card would be complete without fish brads!

Thanks for visiting the blog today.  You can also find us on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

Fishing You a Happy Father's Day!

Hello EO fans! It's Janet here with a fishing card Dad will keep for years to come. The sentiment is cut with vinyl on my Cameo 4. Vinyl works great for something like this because you can cut even the tiniest letters and shapes perfectly. Surrounding the sentiment are Trout Brads, Fishing Pole Brads and Fishing Brads (the hooks). I also used matt finish enamel dots. These are not shiny and so absolutely perfect for masculine cards. It's adds pops of color without adding shine which is not so masculine. The final touch was spraying some Dylusions Spray on it to give it a water spattered look.

Let's get our Fishing Rules straight!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here, sharing a fun Father's Day card FULL of awesome brads and of course some washi tape! Yep, Father's Day will be here before we know it and we need to get our Fishing Rules straight beforehand, lol! ;)

I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from shimmery black cardstock. I built a little beach scene using Sky Washi Tape-Wide and Water Washi Tape for the background. I printed the Fishing Rules sign on kraft cardstock, adhered it to the background, and embellished it with
Fishing Lure Brads, a Fishing Pole Brad, Trout and Bass Brads, a Wine Brad (don't laugh - I didn't have any beer brads and the wine bottle looked like it could pass for a beer bottle, lol!), a Seagull Brad and Shell Brads. I layered the background panel on kraft cardstock which gave it a nice contrast against the black card base.

I embellished the inside panel with strips of kraft and black cardstock, adhered a stamped and die cut sentiment, and layered it on kraft cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

Reel Experts Tackle Anything

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I'm glad you're here.

It's getting warmer, which means the men in our lives - and some of us women, too - are going to get out their fishing poles and head to the lake to catch some fish. So I decided to make a fishing type of card today for all those fishermen out there.

The fish and the fishing pole brads look so realistic
with all the detail to them.

Eyelet Outlet Products used on the card:

Now, if you must - go fishing!

But if not - go to the Eyelet Outlet store
and check out all the fun products there!

Have fun!

Hooked On You

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and the Design Team at Eyelet Outlet is hard at work to give you lots of inspiration for your Valentine projects, but no need to wait on Valentine's Day to let your special someone know how you feel!  Here's a card perfect for just that!

This awesome fishing lure card stock was just what I needed to pair with Eyelet Outlet's new fishing lure brads, don't you think?!  And they go so well with our popular fishing pole brads, too!

And speaking of Valentine's Day and since it is Thursday, how about a little Throw Back Thursday?

Last year I had so much fun creating these little punny Valentine cards for my great niece to share at school.  I actually put together a little kit of all the parts and brads she would need and she assembled the cards herself.  The fishing pole brads are pretty versatile, right?!

As 2018 comes to a close, we want to thank you for following Eyelet Outlet on our blog, Instagram, and Facebook this year and we're looking forward to bringing you lots more inspiration in the year ahead!  Happy New Year!

Silly Jokes!

If my dad were still with us I can well imagine what he'd have to say right now!  He'd say, "You can stay, but those jokes gotta go!" I've had so much fun creating silly joke cards this week for the children in my life and today I'm going to share a few with you!

This one is my favorite!  Who would have thought I could create a card that pairs the new Eyelet Outlet Ghost Brad, Fishing Pole Brad, and Fish Brad in the same card!?

The answer?  Lake Eeerie, of course!

Next up these adorable twin witches started with a witch image from Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge, but Eyelet Outlet brads took them to the next level!  I embellished them with Witch Hat Brads, Witch Leg Brads, Broom Brads, and Round Jewel Brads.

The Answer?  You never know which witch is which!

Now when I heard this joke I knew immediately I had a card to create using the Cricut Faucet Brad from the Pipe Brad Set!  The tomato and lettuce are Cricut images from the Freshly Picked cartridge and the race track image is from Sports Mania.

The answer?  The lettuce was a head, the faucet was running, and the tomato was trying to ketchup!

We all need a little fun in our lives, don't you think?  I hope you've been inspired to make a silly joke card for someone you love or maybe to donate to a charity that collects cards for hospitalized children who need some good cheer.

Quite the Catch!

Hi Friends! kel here today to share a punny fishing card!

I used one of the brand new clear stamps, the Fish Stamp Set. It has this super cute sentiment on it and I thought it would be fun to pair with some of the fish brads and a fishing pole... who knew they made fishing pole brads?!? Awesome!!

I used a wavy border die to create the... well... waves, and was able to actually use one long strip of scrap paper to do it! After I layered it together, I added some Trout and Bass brads to the waves to make it look like they were swimming and jumping out of the water! The last thing I did was add the Fishing Pole brad after stamping out the sentiment from the Fish Stamp Set

Super fun masculine card!! I loved being able to use my scraps on this!! Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

lovies, =o) kel
