Lunar Landing

Happy Thursday, crafty friends!  I'm showing my age with today's project!  It's hard to believe that next month marks 48 years since Neil Armstrong walked on the moon!  I remember watching the event on our black & white console television so well!

Usually I stick to paper piecing, but occasionally I like to use my Cricut Explore for drawing. This astronaut image comes from Cricut's Trendy T-Shirts cartridge and rather than cut the image, I set it to draw on my canvas.  And of course, I had to replace the original flag on the image with this wonderful Eyelet Outlet American Flag.  I simply couldn't resist adding a little more life on the moon with this awesome pair of Eyelet Outlet Aliens!

You know you have to have these cuties!  The possibilities are endless!  Stop by Eyelet Outlet.com today and find the largest variety of eyelets, brads and washi tape on the web!
