Llama Birthday Wishes!
I thought this Llama was so adorable and would pair perfectly with the NEW Pinata Brad set!
I added my diecut Llama to colorful, striped patterned paper then stamped my curly hangers to add the pinatas! I did add foam tape behind 2 pinatas for extra pop! I embellished with colorful enamel dots, bling, and pearls, along with the new pinata brads!
To create a fun and colorful inside of my birthday card, I added more hanging pinatas, light purple washi tape, and the pink pearl strip! I think this would be a delightful birthday greeting card!

For the Record...
We want to wish you a Happy Birthday!!
When I saw the adorable vinyl record brads, I knew I want to do a fun, girly, vintage inspired birthday tag! I loved playing on the pinks and golds with adding the sparkly light brown glitter washi tape and pearl bling jewel stickers. I added an array of ribbon and think this would be a fun tag to add to a birthday present for a sweet girlfriend!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

HBD! Happy Birthday!
Happy Friday, crafty friends! I am still working on building my stash of birthday cards, and it is so fun and easy to do using brads, as there are endless possibilities!
I have so many dog lovers in my life, so I made a card for one of them. I started by wrapping a strip of white card stock with Dog Washi Tape. I trimmed the front of my card base down and adhered the washi panel to the inside of the card base. This allows the dogs to show on the front of the card when it is closed, and on the inside panel.
I wrapped another panel of white card stock with the washi tape and I die-cut the letters "h, b, d, and !" from that panel. I adhered the HBD diagonally to a wood-grain kraft panel. I embellished the panel with several of the Puppy Brads and Kennel Mix Brads before adhering to the card front.

For My Favorite Handyman!
Happy Friday, friends! Are masculine cards a struggle for you? They sure are for me, and I never seem to have enough birthday cards for the guys in my life! I created a super fun birthday card for my favorite handyman.
I started by creating a background panel by alternating the Tool Washi Tape with strips of card stock that I die-cut. I created my focal point by adding a large die-cut birthday sentiment to a piece of craft cardstock.

A Unicorn Birthday Wish!
Hello, crafty friends! I never seem to have enough birthday cards in my stash, so I thought today would be a great day to build up some of my stash!
I am really trying to work on some clean and simple cards, because they really allow the embellishments to shine.
I started by wrapping the edges of a card stock panel with Glitter Blue Green Washi Tape and adhered it to a pink card base. I dry embossed the main card panel with a balloon embossing folder from my stash. I die-cut the sentiment in teal card stock and adhered it to the embossed panel before setting some of the darling Unicorn Brads in place. I adhered the panel to the card front and added the Rainbow Brad to my bow with my hot glue gun.
This was such a fun card to create! I hope you are inspired to pull out your favorite embellishments and get to work!

Happy Birthday to Moo!
Hi crafty friends! I hope that you have recovered from the holidays and life is settling down for you.
I had the best time creating this barnyard birthday card! I started by creating the adorable barn using dies from my stash. I added a chicken to the window, and a goat and cow to either side of the doors.

HOPPY Birthday
Nothing makes for a more RIBBET-ing birthday card than Eyelet Outlet Frog Brads. As if the frogs themselves weren't already cute enough, the sets also come with cattails, plus purple and yellow waterlilies. So you basically have all the ingredients for an entire scene... (and inspiration for an appropriately punny sentiment!) ...in just ONE little pack of brads!

Birds of a Feather
This week we're welcoming several new brad styles to the Eyelet Outlet family, including realistic Felines, Colored Daisies, a super-cute Kennel Mix, colorful Reptile Brads and my (Lauren's) instant favorite: Tropical Birds, which contain two variations of Toucan and three vibrant Parrots!
I couldn't resist one more completely gratuitous shot of the bird brads staged with the foliage.

I Did the Math
So, back to the card. First I used the Colored Math Washi Tape to cover the panels which are then matted on black before attaching to the card base. Then I used the Hardwood Floor Washi Tape to frame the chalkboard. And finally, I used the Chalk Board Washi Tape for the board itself. These are three of my favorite washi tapes as they are so versatile!
To write on the board, I used a chalk pen as the washi really does act like a chalkboard. To give it an "authentic" look, I also dusted it with embossing powder so it would appear as if it had been erased. The finishing touch for the board is the Apple Brad.
Here's a picture of the side so you can see the clever design while I share that I also made a tray for the chalk and eraser I cut by covering a thin piece of cardstock with the Hardwood washi and then adding mounting tape to the back before attaching to give it dimension.
I also cut a thin strip of the Chalk Board washi and ran it across the strip on the bottom front of the card and then added Green Jewel Strip over that.
And here's the back of the card. I admit, this sentiment is not for everyone but I have lots of friends who share my dry sense of humor!
Last week I totally forgot to share my Eyelet Post on my blog. If you follow Eyelet Outlet's blog you already saw this; but just in case, here it is:

Aww, Nuts
When you open the card you see the sentiment inside with another elephant and heart to tie the front and inside together.

Reel-y Great Birthday
I've never been fishing, but it seems like it would be a very relaxing activity so long as I didn't have to put bait on the hook...or take the fish off the hook...or clean the fish. On second thought, maybe I'll just stick to making cards about fishing.
Like this one:
I used several Eyelet Outlet product to complete this scene; the Trout & Bass, Seagull and the Pine Tree (soon to be in the store as part of their Fall release) brads and the Pearl Bling Sheets. These brads are the most realistic looking I've ever worked with. Here's a closer look at them:
Here's the Bass, fresh out of the water. Don't those pearls work well as water bubbles. I added a few smaller white dots as smaller bubbles. And there's one of those gorgeous Pine trees.
Here we have a bucket full of Trout...looks like they're having a successful day. In the sky, a Seagull.
Finally, two more Pine trees to complete the scene. The stamp set I used is called Reel Great Guys by Art Impressions. The colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted with White Gel Pen on the water and mountains in the distance.
For inside the card, I scanned the stamped image; reversed and reduced it in size. I added a little sign with the "o-fish-al" age.
You may have noticed this card isn't the standard A2 size. It's 3 1/2" x 6" and I'm glad I opted for that size to give me the opportunity for a panoramic view.
I'll see you again next week....have a great day!
