Hello Pumpkin!

So, over the last few weeks, I’ve been creating a bunch of Thanksgiving table decorations, but the table isn’t the only place you can decorate.  I went through my stash of wood shapes and found this cute pumpkin and knew I must transform it to become part of this year’s holiday celebration!

I painted the base white and then lined it with some pumpkin washi tape. I realized that it was discontinued after I finished making it so I do not have a link to share...sorry :(  But there are so many other cute Washi Tapes to choose from, you won't even miss it.  I then placed some matching orange cardstock in the middle so my saying would pop.

To create the words “Hello Pumpkin”, I lined a piece of paper with the Black and White Dots Washi Tape and then used some dies to cut out the letters and place them on the pumpkin. How cool is that?!?! Die cutting washi tape!!! Just think of the possibilities.

I finished my pumpkin off with some Orange Pearl Bling, Orange Jewel Bling for the outline, and three of the Pumpkin brads. I added a paper twine ribbon so I can hang this cutie up!  I think I’m going to be hanging it up on the outside of my craft room door.

 Zoom! Zoom! Do you need a birthday card for a racing fan? 

I started with stamping and fussy cutting out my race car. I added the glitter black washi tape for my race track and layered onto cardstock edged with the black and white dots washi. After adding my racing flags and sentiment I embellished my card with 3 of the new driving brads!

Capture Life!

 Here's a cute camera inspired card to send to a friend, college student, or graduate who may be embarking on a new life journey! 

I started with a circle cut out of cardstock and alternated my film strip washi tape and dots washi to create a background. I stamped and fussy cut out my cute, camera carrying gal and colored her in using alcohol markers. Lastly, I added my sentiment and a camera brad from the travel collection!

Back To School

 As summer is coming to a close, it is time to gear up for "back to school".

I created this card thinking it would be a sweet way to encourage a teacher as they prepare to head back to school or perhaps to send to your child's teacher with a little note of encouragement! My card base is the standard 4.25 x 5.50 which I trimmed with film strip washi tape. I then created my card adding stamps, distress inks, and my greeting. Next, I embellished with tape measure washi tape and dots washi tape. Lastly, I added the paper flowers in yellow and white adding some distress inks for dimension and a orange brad for the center. I hope you enjoy!

Congratulations Graduate!

 It's graduation season! Do you know someone graduating this year? Here is a fun, money envelope card to make and give to congratulate and honor the graduate!

I started with a free printable money envelope template and layered my washi tape to create a background. After adding my stamped and colored image, I stamped and fussy cut graduation caps and a present to add to my card front. Lastly, I embellished with the adorable camera brads!

Almost Back to School Time!!

Hi Friends! kel here today to share a simple teacher card!

It's almost time to go back to school for us... my kiddos start next week!! So I wanted to get some teacher cards prepped for the beginning of the school year! This card features the simple but beautiful apple brads and some simply gorgeous Black and White Dots Washi Tape. 

I love how the Black and White Dots Washi Tape makes the red on the page pop!! Such a simple add but so essential and just pretty!!
