Harvest Thanks

Happy Saturday Eyelet Outlet fans!! I'm definitely into fall right now and EO always has just what you need to make cards great no matter the theme. Today, I have a harvest themed card that features EO's Scarecrow Brads, Rooster Brads, Pumpkin Brads, Sunflower Brads, and Orange Pearl Bling. When I run across unique ephemera like the one I used here, I can't help but get excited about how great EO products will elevate it into something even better and do it so easily!

To create the scene, I cut a gold stitched mat for my A2 card. I made a frame by nesting 2 other stitched frames together before running them through my die cut machine. I ran a piece of chocolate cardstock through a wood 3-D folder and cut it to fit inside the orange frame. I stamped and heat embossed the word Thankful on dark purple cardstock, and stamped and cut the For You sentiment.

I layered all these pieces together and glued the ephemera in place. I added all the brads and pearl bling to make a really great harvest scene that I look forward to mailing off to family soon!

Furry Friend Halloween Card

I'm a grandma to 4 kiddos as well as a few granddogs. I typically remember them at Christmas with a toy or treat, but today I decided the granddogs needed a Halloween treat, as well.

This darling sentiment as well as the bulldog are images from the Cricut image library. An Eyelet Outlet witch hat brad is serving as the dog's Halloween costume and he's out trick-or-treating for some yummy treats.  I added a paw brad and a dog bone from our Kennel Brad Mix to the sentiment. And when you're loading your cart at Eyelet Outlet, be sure and add some of our fantastic wide grass washi tape! I can honestly say it's my fav of all the amazing tapes we offer.

Thanks for stopping in and be sure to check out all our dogs and dog themed products at Eyelet Outlet.

Unsuccessful Chameleon?

Eyelet Outlet Reptile Brads feature both chameleons and geckos, and it would be a shame if one COULDN'T see them, since they're very handsome indeed. This chameleon is proud to be the star of a "Dad Joke" style card; he's joined by a Tall Palm Brad, and backed up with Grass TapeWood Washi and Wide Cactus and Flamingo Tape.

Grateful Forest

Hi everyone and welcome to our Sunday blog post here at Eyelet Outlet! I'm always on the lookout for dies, card kits and designs that allow me to show off EO brads, bling, and flowers. Today I have a shadow box card that I made using dies and patterned paper from Crafter's Companion. When I saw the woods die, I knew I would just have to put EO's Sketch Owls in the scene. I used another owl as the center of my twine bow. I added Leaf Brads and placed them to look like they are falling in the forest. To get that look, I inserted the brad portion through already created holes in the tree trunks made by the die. It couldn't have been easier! I created the large mushrooms with dies to frame this scene. They were calling me to snuggle in a couple of the Girl Gnome brads so I listened. How cute!

I encourage you to take a look at your collection of dies and stamps and think about what EO products you have or would like to get that would make your good projects even better. They will elevate your projects every time and make them stand out!

Happy Thanksgiving

The first day of Autumn is only a few weeks away, so let's start thinking about Thanksgiving! Here's a card I made to send to loved ones who live far away to let them know I am thankful for them.

I cut the large red leaves on my Cricut and then I spritzed them with some water, wadded them up in a ball, and carefully unfolded them and allowed them to dry.  The finished result is a lovely crinkled leaf that looks like it just fell from a mighty oak in the forest.

I  added a few acorn brads and some pearl bling to the brown branch in the background. I finished my card off with a few oak leaf brads from the leaf brad set.

We hope you'll pick up some Eyelet Outlet products for your fall projects and tag us when you share pictures of your projects on social media!

Snowy Christmas

Hi EO fans! Happy September 1st! Hard to believe we are now officially in the beginning of all isn't it? Today, I'm back with another holiday card. I just can't help myself because I'm so enamored with the new Angel Brads! For this card I've made a snow globe scene with one of the angels hovering above a church scene. Also in the globe are Deer and Tree-Retro Brads. I also added White Snowflake Bling. In the rest of the card, I covered the "ground" with Sparkle White Glitter Washi Tape. I made a bow and cut out the sentiment and attached them both to the card. Then I embellished with another Angel Brad and two Bell Brads

Have you started your holiday card making yet? I send about 50 of them each year so I have to start early or I won't have them done in time. So - one more to get me to my goal made easy with Eyelet Outlet products.
