Thankful Harvest

It's the last weekend before Thanksgiving. If you are in the United States, most of you are thinking about gatherings centering around family with a harvest of bounty, the Thanksgiving Feast! I have been busy shopping and prepping for the day. How about you?

Today I've combined a die cut image with several EO brads and a pumpkin washi tape. It's pretty simple to enhance die cuts with brads that fit the theme. I've used many here on the pumpkin flower scene.

To make the card, I start by cutting the die cuts out of white cardstock. Then I color the shapes with Copic markers. You can shade your die cuts this way. I also enhanced a yellow paper flower with a marker. To make the background, I covered a piece of cardstock with pumpkin washi tape and then cut it and a shadow layer out with scalloped dies.

Once all the cuts were ready, I began to piece the die cuts and I placed many accent brads amongst the die cuts. I included sunflowers, leaves, pumpkin, acorn, scarecrow, and butterflies.

Gratitude Recorded

Do you keep a November Gratitude Journal? For the last couple of years, I have participated in writing daily gratitude using a traveler's notebook. This year, I decided to do rolodex cards!

I started with creating a rolodex template and began adding my stamps. I added the year, month, and my "focus" on the first rolodex card. For the second card, I used a lined stamp to create my background and lines for journaling.

Lastly, I embellished with Eyelet Outlet's beautiful Autumn themed washi tapes and brads! The possibilities are endless! I hope you are inspired to create a way to cultivate and record your daily gratitude this November.

I hope you enjoy! Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

Go Vegan for Thanksgiving!

Fall is going fast and it'll soon be time to think about the menu for the annual Thanksgiving Feast. Of course, what is Thanksgiving without the turkey! Today's turkey is doing his best to get uninvited to the day where he's normally the star of the show!

This little vegan is surrounded by Mini and Leaf Brads and Orange Pearl Brads. He is standing on a strip of Pumpkin Washi Tape which holds the new Acorn & Squirrel Brads. Also included are a Sunflower Brad and a Pumpkin Brad.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please visit the store for all your brads, washi tape, bling and paper flowers!

Harvest Friendships

Autumn is a time to harvest friendships!

I am enjoying the colors of Autumn! I started with stamping my scarecrow image and coloring with alcohol ink markers. I created a background for my image using the wood grain washi. Lastly, I used a standard card base embellishing with the pumpkin washi, scarecrow brads, and fall brads!

Pumpkin Time

,! /

Autumn is here and with it comes scarecrows, pumpkins
and rich colors. For this seasonal card I used stamps and
some background stencils from Peddlers Den/Makin a Scene
Stamps. I colored the scene with Distress Inks and Copics.

Then came the decorating fun with the adorable pumpkin
brads from Eyelet Outlet. I love their rich color. Next, I decorated
the corner with washi tape, paper flowers and enamel dots -
all from Eyelet Outlet

Autumn Girl...

This is a girl I stamped from an image from Unity Stamps then die cut.
I colored with Copics and water color. I had a great time coloring
in the pumpkins and then adding the adorable pumpkins brads from the
Eyelet Outlet. They are a perfect size to add on to most cards.
I then included some falling leave brads.
I love that the packet they come in has different sizes and colors.

Finally I framed out the scene with fall washi tape from Eyelet Outlet
with pumpkins and leaves on it.
This is the first time I ever framed a card with washi tape.
I have been doing cards for over 20 years and why I have never done this
before I have no idea but it is simple and mitered corners are so easy to cut.

Sending A Big Fall Hello!

Hello Ai fans! It's late August and we're starting to get a glimpse of fall in most parts. Fall is one of my favorite themes and this is my first true fall card of the season. There are so many fall related EO brads and washi tape. It's really hard to choose what to use for fall themed projects!

Here's a close up of the leaf, sunflower, scarecrow and lawn brads. The colors are so rich and perfect for all the fall cardstocks you may have in your stash. I also used Pumpkin Washi Tape and orange sequins from the store.

CAS Question...

...is a card still "Clean and Simple" if it features five Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape styles and nine Brads?! I (Lauren) say yes; but then I'm not exactly a minimalist, lol!

Inspired by this cute tree sticker I found in my stash, I started looking through my Eyelet Outlet goodies for autumnal items in the right colors, and found Pumpkin BradsSunflowersMini Leaves, and the orange calico cat from our Feline Brads. To ground my embellishment grouping, I made a tape stack starting with Pumpkin TapeWood Washi, and my favorite Script Tape, to which I added some shorter pieces of solid color Skinny Tape. Since I had obviously made a tiny stylized landscape, it seemed like a good idea to finish off with Sun and Cloud Brads... so I did!

hopes you're enjoying autumn
as much as she is!

Sweet Pumpkin Patch!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a fun Fall card featuring a pumpkin patch! I know I've mentioned before that Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, and I just had to use these fun pumpkins on a project because you know everything is pumpkin right now - sights, flavors and scents!

I created a side-folding A2 card base and rounded the right upper and lower corners. I created a pumpkin patch on the front panel with three strips of Pumpkin Washi Tape and then added three randomly-placed Pumpkin BradsI added a thin strip of orange cardstock across the top of the pumpkin patch and then added a computer-generated sentiment strip. The final touch was the addition of several orange drops.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

Thanksgiving Favor Boxes

Who doesn't want pumpkin pie on their Thanksgiving table?! Today I'm sharing the recipe for one that is surprisingly simple to make and your family will surely enjoy. It's easy as pie!  😄

The file for these drawer pie boxes is from SVGCuttingfiles.com. I've embellished the pie slices with Eyelet Outlet's pumpkin washi tape and pumpkin brads and pilgram hat brads. Our leaf brads would also be beautiful.

The whipped cream is a rolled flower from the Cricut image library and is cut from felt with the rotary blade on my Cricut Maker. Won't they make cute place cards on the table?!

The window bakery box is from Cricut's Sweet Tooth Boxes image set and the tag is a combination of images from the Cricut image library embellished with a cute little Eyelet Outlet fork brad from the silverware brad set.

If you'd like to create these for your Thanksgiving guests, I've put together a tutorial to take the guess work out of sizing. Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful crafty day!
