The Merry Curio Cabinet

Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing a Christmas curio cabinet card made with Eyelet Outlet's sleigh brads, snowman couple brads, santa & deer brads, snowflake brads, nutcracker brads, gingerbread brads, and candy cane brads.  Eyelet Outlet has adorable embellishments for your crafty projects.

I used a die to create the base for the curio cabinet.  Ink blending on brown cardstock creates the look of wood.  Coordinating pattern cardstock to fills in the "shelves".  I chose a variety of Christmas brads to fill in the cabinet.

This curio cabinet Christmas card reveals all the little details that make this season so magical.  Thank you for visiting the blog today.  I hope this inspires you to create a fun project using Eyelet Outlet products.  Please visit Eyelet Outlet for creative supplies and inspiration.

Surfin' Santa

Santa's taking a break from all the holiday prep to enjoy a bit of surfing, and maybe a few treats, too.  Santa's tropical island has am Eyelet Outlet Tall Palm Tree Brad behind a Sandcastle; and Santa's brought a Candy Cane Brad along, just in case he needs extra energy. The background features Gingerbread Washi and Ho Ho Ho Tape, adorned with Gingerbread and Peppermint Candy Brads. Surf's up!

Presents from Santa!

Santa's bag is brimming with goodies and they're spilling out for you to enjoy! This little variation of a buckle card is created in Cricut Design Space and the buckle portion of the card is held in place when the card is closed by a little circle embellished with an Eyelet Outlet Candy Cane brad.

Spilling out of Santa's bag I used one of the gingerbread kids, a nutcracker brad, a sweet little sock monkey brad and a gift brad

Here's what the card looks like when it's opened.

Pop Up Christmas Cards

Today I’m sharing two pop-up cards with a Christmas theme. The stamp and die sets I used are from Diamond Press. In the first, Santa is peaking out of the chimney on a house roof. When the tab is pulled, he pops out.

The second card has an elf and reindeer that are busily wrapping presents.

When the tab is pulled, the elf pops out.

Here are the insides of the cards.

I decorated these cards with several brads and bling from the EO store.

Oh Christmas Tees!

This festive trio of holiday t-shirt cards is one of the fastest projects of the year, thanks to a colorful selection of Eyelet Outlet holiday themed brads and tapes. The backing panels are made of extra-wide Wood Tape, Music Note Washi and Brick Tape, set against super-sparkly Glitter Red Tape.

Gift Wrapping with Eyelet Outlet

I absolutely love gift wrapping!  I especially love topping my gifts with paper rosettes and Eyelet Outlet offers so many wonderful products to place in the center of your rosettes.  Today I'm bringing you a few of my recent gift wrapping projects.

I created these diamond shaped rosettes with my Cricut Maker.  They are from the Scoring Wheel Rosettes image set.  I used red stippled jewel brads with gold edges for the center of the rosettes.  See all of our gorgeous jeweled brads here!  I attached them with a bit of hot glue into the center of the rosette.  I used a gold elastic cord to attach them to my gift.

For this package I sent with a candy theme and topped my rosettes with a few peppermint candy brads and a candy cane brad.  Again, I secured them with just a touch of hot glue into the center of the rosette.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Eyelet Outlet!

December Calendar and Bucket List!

Do you have your December Calendar and bucket list ready to go?

The holidays are always such a busy and joyful time for making memories! I decided to go ahead and set up my December calendar with a bucket list of memory making items we would like to do before Christmas!

I enjoyed adding the Eyelet Outlet brads and washi tapes I had on hand to create a fun layout! To create the matching Christmas pajamas, I covered the white t-shirt brad from the jeans and t-shirt brad collection with snowman washi and used an exacto knife to cut off the excess!

From visiting the Christmas Tree Farm to watching a Christmas movie, I hope you make time to make memories with those you love!  Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

Sweet Christmas Wishes!

Christmas is right around the proverbial corner and I am embarking on creating my Christmas cards!

I started with tracing and cutting a candy cane image from cardstock then added my red and white stripe washi tape to create my own large "candy canes". I added candy cane stamps and candy cane brads to the right border and the Merry Christmas washi tape to the left border. Lastly I cut a tag, embellished with my sweet greeting and added ribbon and a holly brad! I hope this inspires you to begin your Christmas crafting!

Tis the Season

Halloween is over and that means the Holidays are fast approaching! My favorite time of the year is now through the new year.

When you love Eyelet Outlet products like I do, you are always thinking about how they can be used to upscale stamps and dies. Here I used a set I recently got from Spellbinders to create a pretty wreath. It makes a great wreath but I think you'll agree that it so much better with the brads and bling I added to it!

I used two circle dies to cut a donut shape out of white glitter cardstock and then I cut and arranged all the basic wreath pieces using brown and three shades of green. I also cut and put together the bow. Then I added Bell Brads, Poinsettia Brads, Candy Cane Brads and Holly Brads to the wreath. I perched a female and male cardinal on the bow and added red Jewel Bling from the multi-pack. To create a stopper for my easel card, I added Green Cut Jewels to a red glitter border. I adhered a pre-printed foiled sentiment, "Tis The Season," which spreads across the wreath. All in all, this turned out even better than I expected!

I hope you enjoyed my card and I thank you for stopping by today. Please visit the store for all your brads, washi tape, bling and paper flowers!

Sweet Christmas Wishes

Good morning crafters! I'm quite hooked on buckle fold cards lately! They are such a fun way to use patterned cardstock!

And when your cardstock just happens to perfectly complement some of your Eyelet Outlet brads, then it's all the more fun!  Today I used a few of our gingerbread kids and a candy cane on the front of the card, but we also have holly and tree brads at Eyelet Outlet that would have been very cute, as well!

We love to see how you are using Eyelet Outlet on your holiday crafts, so be sure and come by our Eyelet Outlet Fans Facebook Group and share your projects with us!

Merry FIT-mas & Happy New REAR!

My husband and really enjoy our fitness programs at the local YMCA.  We've made many friends and especially appreciate the encouraging and helpful staff, so I made them a special Christmas card this year.'

This sentiment from Cricut Design Space absolutely cracked me up when I saw it and I knew it was going to be perfect for their card. I added a little holly brad to the front.

This is called and accordion fold card.  Here it is fully opened. I used a fitness themed digital paper from azredhead Happy Heart Studios on Etsy called "Be Happy, Be Well" and other images from Cricut Design Space.

But the star of the show were the brads I used.  In all my years as a member of Eyelet Outlet Design Team, this was the first time I ever used the sneaker brads on a Christmas card!

Sweets are one of my weaknesses, so I added a few candy cane brads.and a gingerbread man.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday from Eyelet Outlet!

Christmas Tree Season

Do you feel the spirit yet? Nothing says Christmas more than a decorated Christmas tree! In this 5 x 7 card, I began by die cutting the word tree die cut out of green cardstock. I layered a rectangle of white cardstock with the Ho Ho Let It Snow Washi Tape and cut it with a die. Then I layered Sparkle White Glitter Washi Tape on another rectangle and glued the green tree to it. I fussy cut around the tree shape and attached it to the red washi tape background. This allows the die cut to stand out on the red background.

Next I cut the larger background shape in white cardstock and adhered the main images together. I chose to use a dark red premade 5 x 7 card base from Michaels. I thought it needed more to fill in some of the blank spots so I added a strip of Tree Washi Tape and a strip of gold metallic washi tape. That is one of the rolls in a set of Skinny Holiday Washi Tapes

It was time to decorate the tree so I added all the various brads and bling shown in the Shopping List below. I love how this turned out. The brads enhance the tree die cut but don't overwhelm it.

A Sock Monkey Christmas

Hi friends!  How are you coming along on your holiday cards?  I am making slow, but steady progress, and today I am so excited to share one of them.

I created this simple card using my absolute favorite brad - the Holiday Sock Monkey!  This little fella is the absolute cutest!
I paired him with some fun holiday patterned papers and I tied a loopy bow from metallic embroidery floss and created a button from a Candy Cane Brad to adhere the bow to. Lastly, I added my favorite embellishments - Red Glitter Enamel dots.
I love that this card is pretty clean and simple, but not boring!

Thank you so much for hanging out with me!   Don't forget to leave us a comment telling us if you have finished your holiday cards yet, if you are just getting started, or if you are somewhere in between!

A Visit with a Gingerbread Couple

Eyelet Outlet Gingerbread Brads are about as cute as it gets already, but... they're even more adorable in front of a Gingerbread Cottage, with a Gingerbread Washi sky, and "landscaping" made of Candy Cane and Peppermint Candy Brads. The cottage is trimmed out with Sparkle White Glitter Tape icicles and a Heart Enamel with a sentiment from Foil Red Stripe Washi.

There are lots more holiday brads, tapes and bling available in the Eyelet Outlet Store!

Mini Christmas Explosion Box, Oh My!

Hi everybody! Leslie here sharing a super fun and easy mini explosion box with you today! Are you done with your Christmas crafting or are you still feverishly creating fun stuff?! Christmas is my favorite holiday so you'll find me in my studio creating fun Christmas cards and projects all year long! I love to create all kinds of 3-D projects, especially explosion boxes with three or four layers inside to embellish, but when I saw this mini, I just HAD to make one because it's the perfect size to decorate inside with our brads! Although I used my electronic die cutting machine, this could very easily be hand-cut and scored at 2" intervals.

I cut the explosion box base from metallic green cardstock, the inside panels from Christmas patterned cardstock, and the outside panels from two other Christmas cardstock patterns. I kept the embellishing very simple and used one Candy Cane Brad, one Gingerbread Brad, a Santa from the Santa & Mrs. Claus Brads, and one Snowman Brad to decorate the inside panels. I stamped the sentiment in red ink on the center panel cut from white cardstock, and finished the box with a tiny bow fashioned from green and white dotted ribbon.

Ugly Sweater Party

We call them "ugly" but there is something totally fun and festive about Holiday Sweaters, especially in card form; and Instant Holiday Sweater Awesomeness can be achieved just by adding Eyelet Outlet Holiday Brads!

These particular sweaters are fussy-cut from a Photoplay patterned paper, but this idea would work with any sweater-shaped stamps, dies or SVG files; or swap for t-shirts if you live in a warmer climate! I chose to make mini-slimline cards with three sweaters across, but again, you could make a grid with LOTS of sweaters, or go clean-and-simple and add just a single one to each card.

My first card features a Candy Cane Brad, a Holiday Light and a Pine Tree; the latter makes another appearance on card #2, along with a Snowflake and an (on sale!Ornament Brad.

The third card sports a Bell Brad (also on sale!) a handsome Snowman and one of this year's brand new styles a Gift Brad.

There are lots more fun holiday brad styles in the Eyelet Outlet store, why not hop over and take a peek!
