Christmas in July

Anytime is a good time for Eyelet Outlet bling, but Christmas is an extra good time! Be sure and stock up now while supplies last for all the bling you'll need for your Christmas crafts.

For this project, I added our gorgeous Holiday Flower Bling to the sweater and for the accents in the corners I used this holiday bling. I also added a few clear gems for some extra sparkle. Did you notice that I hung the sweater on one of our popular hanger brads? Don't check out until you add some snowflake brads to your cart! You know you'll need those for your holiday projects!

Christmas Wreath

I have another Christmas card today. the lovely word background was created with Christmas Washi Tape. It works really nicely and was created by cutting a die out of an A2 piece of cardstock covered with strips of the washi. Then I pieced the individual pieces back into the frame portion of the die.

On top of the background, I placed a wreath and bow I had stamped and colored before cutting it out. It is adhered with foam tape to give it some lift. I decorated the wreath with Angel Brads and Red Jewel Bling. In each corner I added the beautiful Holiday Bling. Then I wrapped some twine around the spine of the card and tied a bow.

Blinged Out Angel Ornament

Hi everyone! I recently was gifted a set of dies that make a few different Christmas ornaments. I am entranced by this angel. It requires no glue. It just folds into a cone shape and the wings have slits that allow them to crisscross and that's what keeps it together. So clever!

Of course, I had to bling up an angel and EO has everything I needed to make this one gleam! I decorated her skirt with Swirl Pearl Bling in gold and used Holiday Bling at the top of the skirt. Then I applied Jewel Bling Strip in clear along the skirt's edge. Her wings are accented with Snowflake Bling and Red Snowflake Bling. Finally I placed a 12mm Bling Jewel as her face.

She turned out nicely and will match in nicely with some of my other homemade ornaments that I've created over the years. Simple but sweet!

Holiday Gnome Baker

Hello EO friends! I hope those of you in the U.S. enjoyed your long Thanksgiving weekend with family or friends. My family had a quiet day. There were only three of us but we cooked a good homemade meal with turkey and all the fixings. It was a very good day for the Axtman family!

I've started on my Christmas cards and this cute little Baking Gnome card is a nice start. This gnome is holding a Gingerbread Brad and a spoon from the Baking Brads set. A red Heart Pearl decorates his bowl and a holly spray from the Holiday Bling pack. The background of the card is Glitter Silver Washi Tape. Finally I added three of the larger white pearls to the tag from the Pearl Bling Multi-Pack.

SHOPPING LIST:

All of us on the Design Team laugh about this, but we are always looking for dies and other products that would be perfect with EO brads and bling. This gnome is a great example. When I saw it, I knew it would work great with the gingerbread and baking brads. This die cut is from CottageCutz and it's called Holiday Gnome Baker.

I hope you enjoyed my card and I thank you for stopping by today. Please visit the store for all your brads, washi tape, bling and paper flowers!

Happy Creating Everyone!

A Special Delivery from the North Pole!

It's the time of year that I make as many Christmas cards as I can to be given to friends, family and co-workers. Time is always working against me so I look for quick cards that don't necessarily look like they are quick. Today's card is a good example of what I strive for and it's easy with Eyelet Outlet washi tapes, brads and bling.

The North pole print is from Cricut Design Space (#M1AB058D3). I sized it to fit as shown on an A2 card base. To jazz it up, I applied Garland Washi Tape to the top. Then I used three other washi tapes on the bottom - Pine Tree, Skinny Holiday-Green, and Skinny Washi Tape Green Dots. I inserted the Santa & Deer Brads along with the Tree Brads-Snow. Then I added Holiday Bling in the top corners and clear Jewel Multi-Bling in the  middle of some of the printed stars. The last step was to add a strip of Sparkle Red Glitter Washi Tape on each side of the A2 card before applying the the topper with double sided foam tape. Drop the mike! A jolly holiday card ready in less than 15 minutes from the Cricut machine to completion! My kind of card making!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I love a good holiday party don't you? A great holiday dress for the season is a must. I've glammed up this classic dress with Holiday Bling. The card background is make of alternating stripes of Skinny Washi tape and Stripe Foil Washi. The edges are trimmed with Sparkle White Glitter Washi tape.

This card is simple to make and it's definitely festive. It will likely go to a girlfriend who appreciates a good dress like I do!

Happy Creating Everyone!

Christmas Tags - Heaven & Nature Sings!

Hello Eyelet Outlet Fans! I've got three tags today that celebrate Christmas with a nature theme.

These tags began as white and black laser cut tags. They are part of a six jumbo tags from EZ Laser Designs and they are called Nature. They are a large at 5 2/8" tall by 3" wide.

I loved the images in these tags and knew I wanted to make them Christmas tags. I used lots of Eyelet Outlet goodies to decorate them. First, I used washi tapes over the top of the white layer of each tag that shows through when the black laser layer is on top. I have decided to call this "painting with Washi." I just cut the tape to fit behind. Exact cuts aren't necessary since the laser designs will cover up jagged edges. Once that was done, I added sentiments from my stash and EO bling.

SUPPLIES USED:

BUCK TAG:

Glitter Tall Tree Tape, Holiday Bling, Snowflake Bling 1 1/2", Snowflake Brads

FIRE TAG:

Foil Washi Tape-Silver Stars, Wood Tape, Sparkle Glitter Red Tape, Holiday Bling, Single Red Jewel Bling

BEAR TAG:

Mountain Tape, Holiday Flower Bling, Fancy Long Bling - Pearl & Jewel - Black

I will be back next week with the last three tags in this set. Can't wait to share them with you! Have a great week!

Christmas in July!

I've made several variations of Ugly Christmas Sweater cards, but one thing is for sure - when I embellish those sweaters with Eyelet Outlet products, they are definitely NOT ugly! Since the sentiment I planned to use on this card was "Tis The Season to Sparkle," I decided to embellish my card with some of Eyelet Outlet's bling.

The front of my sweater features the Holiday Flower Bling and in the corners I used Holiday Bling.  For an extra touch of sparkle, I added some clear stick on gems.  Of course, I had to hang my sweater on one of popular hanger brads and then I topped it off with a snowflake brad.

One of the things I like about posting on Thursdays is the occasional "Throw Back!"  Here's another sweater card that I made in 2017.

After embossing the face of the card with an argyle embossing folder for a real sweater feel, I added a Christmas tree embellished with some Eyelet Outlet enamel dots in various colors and sizes.  I also used some of the stunning Fancy Long Bling with Pearls and Jewels.  For the tree topper I used some Snowflake bling.

Be sure to join Eyelet Outlet and many other amazing vendors at the Virtual  Stamp & Scrapbook @ Home event on Facebook this weekend, July 11th.  We've been having lots of fun at these virtual shows and you will, too!

It's All About The Bling!

Christmas time is a card makers favorite time of the year, wouldn't you agree?  I know it's mine!  Today I'm bringing you a card that only has two ingredients, but they are a winning combination!  I used Cricut Adhesive Foil and Eyelet Outlet Bling for this project.

I think you'll agree that the Holiday Bling in Red & Green are must-have!  I also used the Holiday Flower Bling for this project.

The ornaments are from Teresa Collins Christmas Ornaments cartridge.  Using the hide contour tool in Cricut Design Space, I eliminated the original cut outs in the ornaments so that I could adorn them with gorgeous Eyelet Outlet Bling.  With the cut outs gone, there was happily less weeding to do on the foil and so this card actually came together very quickly.  I used clear contact paper to transfer the foil elements to the card base.  The foil comes in several colors, and the Eyelet Outlet Bling comes in lots and lots of amazing colors and styles, so you can really have fun with the combinations on this project.

Here is the same card with blue foil and blue bling

And I love this teal foil and the pearl and jewel strip.

The Fancy Long Zig Zag Bling that I used on the round ornaments is my favorite and it comes in several colors, but today I only had the clear on hand, but can you can image how pretty these would have been in these other delicious colors!?

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to fill your shopping carts with some of our fabulous bling today!
