Good Days Start With Coffee and You!

Hello everyone! I'm a HUGE coffee drinker. If my day doesn't start with a good cup of Joe, my day is not off to an ideal start by any measure. I know I'm not alone. Fortunately it's Eyelet Outlet to the rescue for all my coffee themed cards! EO has many products that are coffee related or coordinate nicely with the theme.

Washi Tape doesn't need to just be an afterthought. Here it's the star of the card, with several rolls combined together to make a great background. Adding coffee brads and coordinating enamel dots make the most of the kuokka stamp which is from Kat Scrappiness. Here's a complete list of products used for this card.

Flower Child Corner Easel Card

Hello EO fans! Today I have a card that is ready for spring! I've used several EO products to make a flowery card that is perfect for spring. This fancy fold is called a Corner Easel Card. It's very simple to make and makes a nice presentation.

For this one I started by covering two white cardstock squares with Rose Washi Tape. In between the strips I applied the red skinny washi tape from the Skinny Holiday Washi Tape. I cut and placed a wreath and then decorated with Rose Brads and White Daisy Brads. I stamped and punched out a sentiment that says Flower Child. A bluebird brad and a red rose brad decorate it and acts as the stopper for the easel part of the card.

The flower and bird brads are very pretty and detailed. The roses look so natural, I half expect them to have a fragrance! The colors and shading are stunning!

Christmas Tree Season

Do you feel the spirit yet? Nothing says Christmas more than a decorated Christmas tree! In this 5 x 7 card, I began by die cutting the word tree die cut out of green cardstock. I layered a rectangle of white cardstock with the Ho Ho Let It Snow Washi Tape and cut it with a die. Then I layered Sparkle White Glitter Washi Tape on another rectangle and glued the green tree to it. I fussy cut around the tree shape and attached it to the red washi tape background. This allows the die cut to stand out on the red background.

Next I cut the larger background shape in white cardstock and adhered the main images together. I chose to use a dark red premade 5 x 7 card base from Michaels. I thought it needed more to fill in some of the blank spots so I added a strip of Tree Washi Tape and a strip of gold metallic washi tape. That is one of the rolls in a set of Skinny Holiday Washi Tapes

It was time to decorate the tree so I added all the various brads and bling shown in the Shopping List below. I love how this turned out. The brads enhance the tree die cut but don't overwhelm it.

A Special Delivery from the North Pole!

It's the time of year that I make as many Christmas cards as I can to be given to friends, family and co-workers. Time is always working against me so I look for quick cards that don't necessarily look like they are quick. Today's card is a good example of what I strive for and it's easy with Eyelet Outlet washi tapes, brads and bling.

The North pole print is from Cricut Design Space (#M1AB058D3). I sized it to fit as shown on an A2 card base. To jazz it up, I applied Garland Washi Tape to the top. Then I used three other washi tapes on the bottom - Pine Tree, Skinny Holiday-Green, and Skinny Washi Tape Green Dots. I inserted the Santa & Deer Brads along with the Tree Brads-Snow. Then I added Holiday Bling in the top corners and clear Jewel Multi-Bling in the  middle of some of the printed stars. The last step was to add a strip of Sparkle Red Glitter Washi Tape on each side of the A2 card before applying the the topper with double sided foam tape. Drop the mike! A jolly holiday card ready in less than 15 minutes from the Cricut machine to completion! My kind of card making!

Festive Christmas Greetings

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a pretty Christmas card featuring a wreath embellished with some of our gorgeous brads! Also used some of our festive skinny washi tape!

I cut a 5.5" square top-folding card base along with red dotted and striped cardstock panels, then applied strips of skinny red and green washi tape from the Skinny Holiday Washi Tape pack along with a strip of Skinny Gold Washi Tape at the seam. I adhered the panel to the card base and then the fun began creating the wreath! I die cut a circular frame on which to build the wreath. I punched a bunch of leaves and adhered them to the frame, adding single leaves here and there to fill in blank spots. I embellished the wreath with several Poinsettia Brads and 6 mm Red Gold Edge Jewel Brads, and a red bow at the bottom. I stamped the sentiment across the bottom and then adhered the wreath to the card front.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!
