This week has been so cloudy and gloomy looking at my house. I've been hungry for some sunshine and decided to create my own!

A Shower of Love
Hello everyone! I'm here today with a card that's another good one for Valentine's Day. It could also work as a message of encouragement.
I started with an A2 card base that is printed with diagonal gray lines. I lined the edges of the card with Weather Washi Tape. It features clouds with rain coming down. I put it down so that the rain drops on the tape peak through on the edges but since it's a white tape, the gray lines still show through too. I like the two looks merged together.
I cut out the top part of the card which resembles a cloud and layered it on top of a pastel alcohol ink background I had created a while ago. I stamped and cut out a rain shape for the middle in dark blue cardstock. I drew in more rain lines on the alcohol ink background with a paint pen and placed Pink and Red Heart Peals at the end to represent love drops. I glued the dark blue piece in place and then attached blue and clear Tear Drop Bling for the water drops. These are so pretty and are perfect to represent raindrops.
Last I stamped the sentiment and colored the word LOVE with Copic markers and a white gel pen. Then I cut it out in the shape of a large cloud and glued it to the top of the card. The finished panel was then glued on top of the card base so that the edges with the washi tape peak through.

A Love-ly Valentine Card
Hello everyone! I hope you have had a great weekend so far. Today I wanted to make a romantic card for Valentine's Day. Eyelet Outlet had just what I needed to create this elegant beauty!
I started by applying a strip of some of the prettiest washi tape I've ever seen on a white mat sized at 4" x 5 1/4". It's called Rose Washi Tape and it's very wide at just short of 1 1/4". It creates a beautiful border at the top and bottom. Centered between the washi tape, I glued in a strip of 4" x 1 1/4" pink cardstock. Then I placed a strip of Love Washi Tape so that it slightly overlapped both the rose washi tape and the pink cardstock. To add additional glam, I used gold spray on the panel. The washi tape tends to repel the spray so I dabbed the excess and let it dry. Then I got to work on the gold wax seal. After melting the seal, I sprinkled Pink Heart Sequins on the center and pressed it with a flat circle stamp head. It isn't the neatest circle but I think the unusual shape actually looks great inside the White Paper Flower.
To finish the card, I wrapped gold thread across the center of the pink panel and glued the Flower in the center. Last, I added White Pearl Bling around the flower. The finished panel was then adhered to a gold A2 card base.

Getting Older Is No Prob-Llama!
The green panel is 4" x 5 1/4". I cut two orange strips of paper at 1 1/2" each and place a strip of Cactus Washi Tape in the middle of each. I glued them at an angle and trimmed off the excess orange paper on each side. Then I cut the blue starburst and the yellow circle. I glued my blue llama on the circle and then put a Cocktail Brad on his back and three green Pearl Bling. I adhered the llama piece on to the green panel and then inserted Piñata Brads and Cactus Brads in the corners. I mounted the green panel on a slightly larger orange panel and put both on a white A2 card base. I wrapped a white and orange baker's twine around the folded edge of the card and tied a bow. Last, I stamped and cut the birthday sentiment strip and glued it to the top orange and washi tape strip.

You're So Tweet!
Hello EO fans! I guess I already have Valentine's Day in my thoughts because I decided I just had to make today's card that is full of hearts and "tweet" thoughts. What a bird brain! Ha, ha, ha. This is a 6 x 6 card. I began by stenciling a square piece of white cardstock with three Oxide inks so that the starburst radiates out of the center from dark to light. I colored and cut out the mailbox and the main sentiment and glued it in the center.
Then came all the embellishments that really gives this card life. First I used Sparkle Gold Glitter Washi Tape for the edges of the card. Then I put the starburst panel on and added Heart Enamel Shapes, Rose Brads, Leaf Brads, Mail Brads, and Bluebird & Robin Brads. Last I added three Heart Brads. Loving how this card is so fresh and makes me think of spring. I can almost smell those roses can't you?

Pet Sympathy
This is never my favorite type of card to make, but sadly sometimes pet sympathy cards are needed and always appreciated by the recipient.

Barbie's Hat & Shoe Boutiques
This Christmas gift for my granddaughter has been one of my favorite projects in recent months! I hope she has as much fun playing with it as I've had making it for her.
I created several felt hats for her Barbie dolls. I was inspired by a similar project I found on YouTube and created the pattern in Cricut Design Space. I cut the felt with my Cricut Maker and rotary blade. The fun really started once the hat was assembled because there is literally no end to the possibilities of embellishing these little cuties!
Here are a few of them that I embellished with Eyelet Outlet products.

Cheers!
Wishing you a very Happy New Year with hopes that 2025 will be your happiest and most creative year yet! It seems appropriate to start the year with a toast... and Eyelet Outlet definitely has a fine selection of beverage brads, including, from left to right: Lemonade, Beer Brads, Cocktails, Liquor Brads, champagne flutes from the Wedding Set and Wine Brads. With Party Hats and Balloon Brads to decorate the numeral balloons, each diecut from a different shade of Glitter Tape. All on a background of extra wide Calendar Washi.
And don't forget the Tea, Coffee and Soda Brads for those who prefer their beverages a little softer. All of these and lots (LOTS!) more in the Eyelet Outlet Online Store!
