Magical Day
I first learned about wiper cards from the Eyelet Outlet Design Team Lead, Janet and I was hooked. They are actually pretty easy to make and have a little mechanism that pops up when the card is opened.
Today I've got one to share with you that features a number of magical Eyelet Outlet products.

Happy Birthday to the Tool Man
Hello EO fans! Today I'm here with a fun masculine card. I've used many different washi tapes on this card. It all works together to create a happy birthday tool man theme.
I've also added tool brads to this card. I think the wrench and hammer is perfect for this man. These are from the Tools brad set. The hand saw is from the Saw brad set. Green, orange and white pearls add just a little bit of bling. This may be a man's card but I still think the pearls add the right touch.
This card is for my husband who it a real tool man. I think he's going to get a kick out of it. I just love that no matter the theme, EO always has just the right washi tape and brads.

Snowflake
Today's card entitled "Snowflake" is a simple but elegant card with lots and lots of bling!
The Eyelet Outlet Glitter Dark Blue Washi Tape creates the 'paper' for the snowflake die cut. Strips of the tape are laid down side by side on cardstock and the Memory Box Extra Large Snowflake Die cuts through it beautifully. The Eyelet Outlet Clear Sticky Back Jewels add just the right touch of sparkle and shine to the snowflake.
The Anna Griffin word die "believe' is placed at the bottom of the card. Again, the Eyelet Outlet Glitter Star Washi Tape is laid down side by side on cardstock to create a 'paper'. The word die cut provides an ombre effect complimenting the card.
Once the die cuts are completed, distress inks create the mood of the card. In this case, Speckled Egg is used in the center of the card and it fades out to Hickory Smoke along the edges. The snowflake and word are glued down and the Eyelet Outlet Skinny Silver Washi Tape is applied to the card edges.
If you are looking for a fast, blingy holiday card, this may be the one for you!

No Time Like the Presents
I (Lauren) only buy plain, undecorated, giftbags at the big box store. Because I know I can make them unique and fancy with my Eyelet Outlet Goodies! I made this set for my mom's birthday. She loves backyard birdwatching, her beautiful garden, and she's very fond of bling!

Hoppy for You!
It's a hoppy summer day so why not celebrate someone with a pond and it's frogs, turtles and bees! This happy card reminds me of long summer days. Some would say it reminds them of spring but in my youth in North Dakota, ponds didn't look like this until late July or August because the season is so short and cool until then.
There are several sets used here. The Frog Brad Set is so much bang for your buck because you get the frogs, cattails AND the water lillies. The Mini Bee Brads are just the right size for the scene and the Turtle Brad looks so happy too!
I had a bit of space up at the top and I love I could fill it with three different washi tapes and the Sun and Clouds Brad Set. The washi tape used is the new Color Wheel Washi, Skinny Glitter Washi which is a set of 6 colors, and the Checked Blue Washi. The Bright Butterfly Brad make it all work together.
Make yourself a summer scene while the sun is still shining!

When Irish Frogs Are Smiling
By now I expect everyone knows that premade journal cards are my very favorite cardmaking "secret" so it's no surprise that I have employed them here. These particular ones happen to be from Doodlebug Design; I love their clear bright colors. I changed the "Happy" to "Hoppy" on the sentiment flag with the help of a green jewel brad, and added a handsome pair of Frog Brads as well as one of the cattails and waterlillies which come in the same set. A green Heart Enamel completes the little scene.

Totally Do-NUTS About You!
Since we're in the middle of January, I think we're all sort of in Valentine mode, so I've made three cards that would work perfectly for the holiday, but aren't too specifically Valentine-ish. Because it's nice to have choices, right? The first one actually has hearts on it, but that was mostly because I love the colors of this Skinny Heart Tape with the Doughnut Brad that I've swapped in for the "O". I swapped a Heart Brad for the entire word "heart", as well, which makes my sentiment fit really nicely inside the label shape. I'm always on the lookout for papers with strong, straight horizontal lines in them. Ledger and notebook patterns not only look great, they're a great helping hand for placing my tape stripes neatly in the background!
One of the reasons I chose this colorful Dot Washi Tape is that it kind of reminded me of rainbow sprinkles, which are awesome with Doughnut Brads, don't you think? I made my background patterned paper by neatly lining up strips of the tape on a piece of plain white cardstock that I'd cut down to fit perfectly on my A2 card front. This time I moved the sentiment panel off to the right side of the card, but balanced it out by placing the letters towards the left side of the label.
I love pastel pink as much (or MORE, lol!) as anyone I know, but for my third card I chose to celebrate the chocolate Doughnut Brad. I made a background panel from Pink and White Dot Foil Tape, which I revealed unevenly by tearing some dark brown dotted cardstock... a bit like peeling the wrapper of a candy bar! I composed my sentiment with oversized vinyl letters and trimmed-down Dymo labels; and added a few strips of Skinny Brown Glitter Tape just behind the word "donut" for even more emphasis.
I hope your day has included both creativity and treats... the Eyelet Outlet Store is a pretty good place to find both of those! ♥

Cheers, My Dears!
Ever since the first time I saw this beautiful ambery shade of Eyelet Outlet Bling and realized it was called "Champagne" I have had the idea for this card.
I downloaded a piece of copyright-free clipart to use as templates for my glasses and used two strips of Glitter Gold Tape, torn at the top edge, and trimmed neatly at the bottom for the champagne.
My favorite part of this card are the bubbles, made from Champagne Bling Strips that I snipped apart. I think they really look like bubbles, but also... (here's a designer secret for you!) ...by placing them carefully, I was able to hide the seam where my two vertical pieces of tape meet inside each glass! ;)
I made my own patterned paper for the background, by typing "Happy New Year" in a bunch of languages and formatting the text at 9-point size in a free font called "Sunshine Poppy". I saved the file, and it will be on the "Freebies" page for you to use, if you wish. I added the year in glittery stickers and matted the whole panel on a piece of cardstock bordered in Skinny Glitter Black Tape.
I hope 2018 will hold everything you wish for! ♥
